i have never done it myself, but one of my kids did before i returned to sender, was a weird black cloth thing, absolutley no idea what it was for, and a pair of gardening gloves

Yes it was marked F.A.O: S.Hussein. To cut along story short. My nose is now where my hairline used to be and what were two other flats above are no longer there...Terrible smell of sulpher after, took me weeks to get that stink out of the curtains.

Yes we got a parcel full of someone else's Christmas cards. They lived on the next street and we forgot to take them back. A few weeks after Christmas we found the cards (when finally cleaning up - where not very tidy people). We were unsure what to do but in the end we opened them. Pretty dull cards and we were disappointed that there was no money in them - some people are so tight!!!

Yup we used to get loads of stuff from Readers Digest sent to the same address but from a different area. Noting of any value but irritating for years that it never stopped

yeah, i used to get stuff all the time for someone who had put the wrong address on a catalogue or something, got some nice shoes and a toaster off it, when the bill came I sent it back "not known at this address" and i never heard anything else ever , lol
