I am speaking at a conference in April and naturally I get nervous. I also get nervous and I am a bit of a'wallflower' when I meet new people. Especially when the room is going to be filled with potential employers. I think I worry about what they think of me and stuff, which I know is a bit stupid, but I think we all do that when we meet new people.

Any tips or ideas on how to become more confident in these circumstances i.e public speaking and meeting new people.

Is there a Paul MacKenna CD or something which can help with these things.

We become better and stronger people as we triumph over adversity, but there is a trend emerging where people are being given permission to medicate themselves to the point that they no longer have to meet the facts of life head on.

it seems that we are all being put to sleep by the drug companies! Consider this;

If a person can't feel pain, then they can't respond and pull away from what is hurting them, therefore the FEELING of PAIN is a healthy response to a negative influence and CAUSES a person to MAKE A CHANGE.

We need to be able to feel some sadness so that we can overcome, grow and progress, while learning to fix and or to eliminate those things in our lives that make us sad.

This is the ONLY WAY OUR WORLD WILL BECOME A BETTER PLACE. To keep drugging everyone is to allow our world to collapse from within.

So now, are you REALLY depressed and in need of medical assistance or does life just suck right now and the sooner you face the facts the better you'll be for it?

She signed up for the show. How could she not know it could get real personal and not very nice. I mean they all(reality shows) get to a point where it gets personal. How could she not know it would happen? Some girls dissing her doesnt really add up to racism. Catty girls are the backbone of these kind of shows. She was all stuck up and acting like she was some huge star and they should treat her special thats how I see it and they got her back.

The price of oil has dropped to just above $50 a barrel, so why are gas prices not dropping as well. Gas rose to it's current price while oil was nearing $80 a barrel, so with the drop in price of oil, why has the cost of gas not followed?

My mother in law has dementia. She is still at home, and we hired a woman to help with her.She goes to her house in the late morning, gives her breakfast , does laundry, etc. We've been having problems with my mother in law staying up late. I dont think that she goes to bed sometimes until morning. Then when our help arrives, she cant get her up. Has anyone had this experience before? I know that they call it sundowning, but I dont know if it can be corrected. We cant afford to have someone with her all the time to make sure that she goes to bed at a decent time. Any input would be appreciated. She's also been nasty to people and shes normally a very sweet person. My husband and I are about ready to lose our minds. HELP!!
