I seem to remember something about lack of oxygen.

I used to think it was because your body was signalling to you to breathe more, because of a lack of oxygen...


Then, I went and had an ultrasound to find out the gender of my baby, and he yawned.... But he didnt need oxygen, and I doubt he was bored... So I have no idea. LOL.

nope,,,,i heard when you yawn it is sending blood cells to the brain with oxygen,,,
