Yes it should be equal punishment for the crime, regardless of gender. This is what a feminist would believe.

I volunteer for an advocate for sexual assault victims. Yes a woman can rape a man. Getting an erection does not give consent so it is still rape. Male rapes are a very small percent of sexual assaults. That's why there is less attention focused on them. Men may be less likely to report perhaps due to the shame. A raped male should be taken as seriously as a raped woman. They are victims and need the same services and have the same legal rights.

i am so sick of the argument, if you can even call it that, of you can;t rape the willing. And the whole, it would be harder to prove in court.

I guess i was always taught, and I believe that the word no means the same thing whether it comes from a mans mouth, or a womans.

Marmo...you really are an idiot aren;t you? A man becomes aroused and can reach orgasm thru a physical sensation, so you are saying that it is less humiliating for a man to become aroused when being raped as it is for a woman. Because yes, women can achieve orgasm and arousal when being raped, and it is a terrifying and horrible thing to go thru, man or woman.

Yes! In fact, I think that a man being raped by a woman should be given MORE attention than a woman being raped by a man, in order to show men who are ashamed of being raped that it is NOT their faults and they don't have to keep hiding it. This is a big issue that receives far too little publicity.

You are right, it should get the same attention but seriously if a woman want to rape a man there aren't to many guys that would object to the matter. But there are cases where it happens and no it will never get the same attention. Why I don't know, there are many possibilities, some are a guy can't get pregnant, guys usually won't put up a fight..... just a few but I'm sure you can come up with more.

Yes, but if it's the same man and woman, raping each other....maybe they should get no attention?

Yes. I think it would be harder to prove in court.
When I was a teenager, an adult man told me he had been raped and I thought, "say whut?"
We're talking raped by a part of the body, I assume. If with some sort of object, then this is a no-brainer.

Yes it should be equal, but there are morons out there that like to claim that because a man gets an erection, that he is a willing partner, what some of them do not realize is that studies have shown that sometimes when a woman is being raped, her clitoris stands erect. This is caused from adrenaline, this happens when we are involved in an altercation. It has nothing to do with wanting sex.

Yes it should, it is the invasion of ones self, as it is with a male-female rape. Do the crime, do the time, it should not be a gender thing, equality for all.

Yes it should but the incidence of women raping men is MUCH lower than men raping women.

Rape is rape.

definitely yes!!!
many people forget that men have feelings and are people.
Being Raped is a very serious crime, whether a male or female is the victim.
rape is very horrible for the victim and is traumatizing, humiliating and just so painful. And that doesn't change if you are born a boy or a girl.
