Does pornography empower women? Or does it degrade women?

I find that people either believe that pornography is an expression of male culture through which women are exploited OR that pornography actually empowers women (ex: Jenna Jameson and her "empire", the show the girls next door are a huge hit with female audiences, etc ..)

OK is it possible for a child who is 2 yrs old to be diagnosed with this. When some of the childs therapists think its PDD. Yes she has behavior problems but what 2 yr old doesnt have. She is more frustrated than defiant. We had her seen by a psychologist for wrap around services which is something like Early intervention. I just think that the psychologist said she had this to get her into services and wouldnt pay attention to my concerns about the Autistic traits she displays. What can we do now. Not many child psychologists around see 2 1/2 yr olds.

of him wanting to commit suicide.H expressed his love and told me he didnt want to lose me. Come to find out the reason he was feeling this way was bc he got a onenight stand pregnant months before we met. As I helped him come to terms he decided to want to meet his child & I told him he should be apart of the childs life.Well, he decided to remain friends w/ me until he figured how to deal with it all, but to hold on to "us". But I found out he was developing feelings for the mom and he got caught out. We had a huge blow out and exchanged very hurtful words and was cold and hurtful..we never did before.Then we spoke again and he said it was all uncalled for. Yet, I feel he wasn't sincere about it. He wasnt even able to speak to me on the phone for more then 2 min. Now he doesnt want to speal to me at all. All I wanted was to discuss the matter.His he feeling guilty, does he feel imperfect in my eyes now, so he is acting defensive?He hurt me beyond belief. Did he really want me gone

Thus guy I know has given me tutoring lessons, and he's always asking me if I would like to sign up for more, but I told him I was going through financail difficualty and couldn't so he offered free sessions, but I never took advantage but what was weird was the fact that he txt messaged me last night at 12:00 midnight asking me if I wanted to sign up for more tutoring sessions and I told him I didn;t know, and he was like well let me know when you have an hour free...Does anyone thinks thats sort of weird..? And what do you think his agenda might be?

does anyone with bipolar feel like the path to actually finding out who you are is actually longer than what it should be? Like it seems when you are manic you almost have it figured out but then when you crash it seems you are someone completely different with different goals and yes even when being evened out things are different too. How does one distinguish what is real or not when the mood changes so much?

I'm scared of the dark so I sleep with the lights on. But my friends don't know that I'm scared of the dark, if they knew, they probably would made fun of me.... I like my personal trainer and he is really nice and the other day he said i miss training you. He asked if i wanted to train with him for the next 2 months because after that he is moving to the uk for 2 years. I messaged him that night saying ' It's too bad you are leaving in 2 months because i really like you! you are a good personal trainer and i will miss you training me.' He never replied and now I am nervous to train with him because I am afraid he doesn't like me the way that i like him. What should i do?
