This morning..
I don't do it very often anymore. Even sometimes when I feel that I want to I find it very hard.
It's just that sometimes you wait for something for so long and it keep being postponed all the time.
I'm 24, female
It's always good to cry. I think tears make your heart feel lighter. At any age.

A good cry is good for you. It lets stress get out without screaming at people and is actually proven to reduce stress levels along with other levels which can up the amount of good sleep one gets. Most women just plain break down from time to time. I tend to at night in bed if I've been under way too much stress. I personally think guys should because then they might not be as uptight about some things that they can't control despire all their efforts. My last one was a few weeks ago, can't really say why it just happened. I feel better afterwards though!
It's a really good, insightful question! Glad a guy is brave enough to ask it.

I had a good, good cry a couple of days ago. I always cry at night, but sometimes something little sets me off at school, and I have to hold it until I get home. Then I usually forget about it and it comes up another time.
I think it's healthy to cry every once in a while. It happens to me, and I'm not a sad person at all. Sometimes I'm just overwhelmed with school work or I just feel really emotional and don't know why and have to let it out, so I cry.
If you have your good cry like once a week, then it's probably not good! every month or every couple of months or more should be ok.

I'm a 14 year old kid and the last time I cried was about in mid December. It was because my brother's girlfriend's brother got killed in a car accident in Albuquerque, NM. I didn't know the guy but it just hurts to see someone you love in pain. My brother is 20 years old and he's a tough guy if I say so myself. And it even made HIM cry. He kept telling me over the phone "It was so hard seeing his face. It was all scratched up and covered in blood." Once he started saying that I lost it and cried in my closet. I think it's a lot better than holding all the pain inside. Other wise, it comes out later in life in a very violent way. Hope this helps.

I may cry once or twice a year sometimes not even.
A sad song made me cry.not seeing my 2 year old son for 3 months being told I'm never gonna see him again made me cry.Friends and relatives that passed away made me cry. Also friends have made me laugh so hard that I was crying with real tears.
I find a real good cry... not holding anything back ...cleanses the soul.It helps you to catch your second wind in the follies of life.
So YES!!! It is OK to cry sometimes.
Just don't over do it around everyone. If you need to do it alot.Do it in privet.

About a month ago, on learning that my grandfather can't get bone cancer treatment.
I think crying is very healthy; I feel very sorry for those who can't.
I find it easier to trust a person after I've seen him or her cry, regardless of age or gender. Every guy I've really been attracted to has cried in front of me; it melts my heart, yet makes me feel honored that he would share something so meaningful with me.

When I buried my best friend a month ago.
(from a mans perspective) My husband says his last good cry was in October when I miscarriaged our one month old child.
It's a part of life, when we feel emotionally distraught we cry. It helps release a chemical to help us cope with the anxiety we feel.
Women on the average cry more then men.

It's good to have a good cry every now and then, but too much crying too often is just obnoxious. My last good cry was about a month ago.

I'm 21. I haven't cried from physical pain since I was 13, when I got hit in the nut with a softball, and haven't cried from emotional pain since I 12, when my mother attempted suicide. Maybe something is wrong with me.
