it's the most basic part of even the simplest brains, the natural instinct to stay alive. out bodies need air, and we just happen to be surrounded by it, so why not take some? It's FREE!
Why do you ask? Too lazy to breathe?

The main reason I continue breathing is because the cigarettes haven't caught up with me yet.
I'm not motivated....just addicted.

Nothing motivates me to continue breathing. The autonomic nervous system controls the involuntary body functions such as cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive functions, and plays a key role in the body's reaction to stress.

How / why do I keep breathing? Dumb luck. That and the plastic bag slipped off.
Nothing motivates me. I guess something should, but nah.

You continue to stay alive because you were destined to be born at this time and place. You will stop breathing similarily when the duration written for you has ended.

It is definitely the build-up of CO2 in my lungs. I am far more comfortable with as much oxygen as I need. I have everything I need and more. Life is mostly about attitude and you have to know that when times are bad, there will still be good times ahead. Learn from the bad and you can minimize the bad times.

nothing motivates me to breathe. It just happens until i take my last breathe in which i will be dead. people breathe because they need to in order to stay alive. this is why we were blessed with lungs to breathe in O2 and give out CO2.

I feel it is God’s grace that allows me to breathe every second of the day. . . What motivates me. . . God, my family, fulfilling my purpose in life.

My body just keeps doing it for me. I don't really think about it. But I'm quite glad it does, in fact I take care to ensure it will continue to do it for as long as possible as my life is so awesomely brilliant. I can't believe it myself sometimes. I really can't beleive how well things are working out. OK sometimes things go wrong, that's to be expect but generally, it's great.

why give up a good thing, I say
Air enters me due to thereverse vaccuum in my chest cavity when lungs fill and empty.
I am breathed into life like an unwitting bystander.
How lovely.
