Some of my buddies have said that they will only marry women from other cultures (Hispanic, Asian) because they feel they get better treatment and don't have a "princess complex" like many (NOT all) American women.

My buddies have made up their minds. I'm on the fence on this issue. Do they have a point?

They say many American women (rightly) expect to be treated specially ("open my doors, bring me flowers, pay for our dates, etc.")

How do they reciprocate? By offering the pleasure of their company

They'd never dream of actually reciprocating by offering to serve him, say a plate of food. They feel it would be demeaning. "I'm not your SLAVE. . . but, you'd still better open my doors"

By contrast, 4 of us were invited to the home of a Latina for dinner. She and the other Latinas actually served us and THEN they ate themselves. We were stunned. We would rather've eaten WITH them

But, those ladies understand that the door of service swings both ways. That's all they say they want

I was driving, out of control, crossing many railroad tracks. The car finally stopped in my childhood home town; it was the bad part of town & I knew that I had to go back. I thought of calling my dad but I knew that I had to get back by myself. I turned to walk back and there was a huge scary bridge to cross. It was long & as I got closer to the end it got scarier. I kept asking Jesus to help me get across. I made it. I was then in my house. I walked through the interior, then into the garage. I realized that I had left the car running in there. I became concerned about carbon monoxide poisoning; the house & garage had been unsafe all along. The garage had many doors; a couple were partially open. I opened the others. Then I saw a dark man in the garage who was going to harm me.I ran out and asked the neighbors to get him out of my house, but they each told me they couldn't; this man was their best friend.Desperate, I screamed "Get out of my house in the name of Jesus!" I then woke up.

haha... seriously tho. .it's my bf's birthday so i decided to get him a watch. i got him a nice michael kors watch from nordstroms, about $160.. not bad right? well i get home and my mom and aunt are complaining that watches are more of a wedding gift (they are very asian.....i guess a good gift for a groom is a NICE expensive watch from the bride's family). anyway, i dreamt that his parents were talking about me, saying that i only got him a cheap watch and not to take it, and that he only wears like expensive type of watches!!

funny huH? do u ever have nightmares that are completely related to stuff u did during the day?

i call it frustrating mainly coz its NOT impossible! i know i can get the best grades, but i always slip up and don't. it's always the SAME other person who gets ahead of me, every time. i'm a really hard worker (one of the best students in the school), and this is where i plateau. teachers dont push me coz they think im fine where i am, and i dont push myself either...i just stay as one of the top students but not the best. it sucks. :(

I have heard that we do not actually see faces in dreams, but that we have a sense of knowing who the person is.
Does anyone know if this is true or not?
Do you remember faces?

I'm 21 and I'm an adult. I've been trying to deal with this maturely but it keeps bothering me. The only serious relationships I've had were with virgins. But my current bf has been divorced twice. He's more sexually experienced than I am and he's pretty much already done everything with his past girlfriends and wives.
I am upset because I feel like I'm boring compared to his past women. I am also upset because it seems like he's already done everything with other women. He and I can't experience anything for the first time, together because he's already done it before. I feel like we can't be adventurous with our sex life, because he's already "been there, done that".
How do I get out of this funk? I'm trying to be an adult and realize that he's an attractive man....of course he's gonna come with experience. Why can't I deal with it? And what can I do to get over it and move forward with him?

I had a dream where 3 men told me getting married isn't good. They said look at those three houses, those family's butchered each other. Next thing I know I was standing in a big dark room that was soaking with blood. I saw a butchered body, missing both arms, one leg, and half a leg, lying on it's stomach. I was standing infront and when I was standing behind it, it's beedy red eyes opened and told me to not to come near it and to leave. It was my mom's voice, I woke up. I was sure that was my mom's butchered body now I'm not so sure. What does it mean.. all that blood and butchered body???

Tonight's my first big performance, the first I've ever done. It's in front of like 400 people. I'm extremely nervous, and I've frozen onstage once before and totally spaced on a line. Another actor saved me but it felt like we were all just sitting there silent forever in front of about 90 people...
anyway, it's not an experience I want to repeat. I'm so afraid I won't remember something again...
But it's easier, no lines, it's a masked pantomime. I'm really nervous, anybody have any tips to help me get over this?
