Dreams, do you remember faces?

I have heard that we do not actually see faces in dreams, but that we have a sense of knowing who the person is.
Does anyone know if this is true or not?

I have heard that we add faces (as well as colors) when we remember the dreams after we wake up.

I've never heard if that is true or not. However, I don't remember any faces from my dreams. I think you do get a sense of who the person is, without seeing a face, and you would know them if you saw them again. There is always a strong "presence" of someone, even though I don't see the face.

I always see faces when I dream. My dreams are so vivid; it feels like I'm actually there. However, I don't remember the faces when I wake up. & When I do try to remember, the face is always blurred.

I have dreams where I can see peoples faces, so whoever did that study was wrong. I see them clearly! The thing I wonder about is how is it possible to dream of being in a crowd of thousands of people, and every person is unique. I often dream of people I have never met in my life.

I see faces. Definitely. I've heard that some people only dream in black and white. Mine are full of vivid colors, sounds, smells, etc.

yes i have remembered a face. not often, only once. but i remembered.it was a celebrity. freddie prince jr. we got married. then had a scary adventure with people chasing us. but we were in love. and im not a fan of his. so im not sure why it was him.

i had this dream last week where my brother came to visit me, i looked up at him and realized that i couldnt see his face, it was blocked by a big black shadow....

it's sad...i havent seen my brother in 3 years...*sniff*....
