What exactly defines an Arab?

I personally think they do, they put impossible standards on women to look and act perfect - and as we are seeing, these women get drunk and pregnant, like lots of "normal" people out there - they are not "perfect" like the show makes them out to be. I don't see the need or the reason behind them - I'm not ugly personally, but wonder how it makes the "typical" overweight person feel to sit and watch something like this... does it make them feel good about themselves? Doubtful. Why are these things on tv? I don't get it, please help me understand.

And what do you REALLY want in a wife? What keeps you faithful?

I hate to generalize, but why do Indian people lie to get out of trouble? I've had two separate incidents where an Indian person has lied about something. The first time was when I had agreed, but yet to sign a contract, to rent a basement from an Indian lady. I made the mistake of not signing a lease prior to moving in because I thought it was in good faith. When I did move in, she suddenly changed her mind and told me to get out. I took her to court and she freaking lied about ever meeting me. The second time was when I was in a car accident with an indian guy. It was his fault and he was charged by the police officer. When it went to insurance, he lied about it being his fault and even denied issuing a statement to the officer. In the end, he was caught. But it made me think...why do Indian people lie?

If you were suddenly unable to meet your basic needs, and either had to go into debt to buy food or rely on public assistance, would you be likely to be more or less happy than you are now?

A follow-up from my last question, since people seem to want to view the money vs happiness question from their current standing- i.e. additive instead of subtractive. Clearly, those that are currently living a lavish lifestyle would have a less effusively positive result to being handed a million bucks than a single mom raising 3 kids on a Wal-mart salary. For those that fit into the first category, imagine someone replacing your annual Meditteranean wine country tour with a couple extra shifts at I-Hop.

I read some articles about the real need of capitalism in our society, but they were all a little biased (against capitalism). I'd like to read something non-biased, which analyses this question from a neutral point of view.

If you imagine how we dream, we have pictures and images in our mind that make up our dreams. If we have never been able to see anything would we still be able to dream?

Does the cost-of-living not increase every year as well? AND how long has it been since the minimum wage was increased? Everyone has to suffer because people don't get an education or, worse yet, drop out of high school?? Yeah some people lose jobs but the ones that are left are the best for the job anyway, giving us better service and goods allowing us to compete with other nations. Maybe I'm wrong, I'm open minded so let me know.. please don't just rant off without some kind of data to back you up.

I've read several answers on this site to people's questions about depression and such, telling them to take drugs. Psychiatric drugs are incredibly damaging to the mind. Is the "profession" of Psychiatry so good at deception that it actually has the public believing in these drugs so whole-heartedly that nobody else can see a better way? Is anyone even looking for a better way, or is it just easier to pop a pill and try to convince yourself that its working for you, regardless of the evidence that it isn't working and the damage it causes? I guess my question is, does anyone out there agree with this assessment?

When I was 17, I had a fight with my younger brother. He ended up punched me on the left side of my face. It swells but I refused to go the clinic because of my stubbornness. I was so hurt inside rather than the outside. My face swells and I totally looked like a lion!
I thought it was just a swollen face. It did not. My bone structure slightly moved to the right. Therefore, my right cheekbone was slightly higher than the left. My nose bones also slightly moves to the right. Yet, my nose looks higher than before. People will be able to notice it if they take a careful and closer look. This has affected my self-esteem and confidence. I am a perfectionist; ever since the incident, I do not see a point of being one.

I am not going to say something that will look like I am a vain and shallow minded person, but I kept getting compliments about my looks before what had happened to me. I kept denying but they kept telling me. Nevertheless, I kept hearing the same thing up until now, after five years.
I hate wearing make up, but ever since that occurrence, I have to put on some highlights on my left cheekbone to give a balance effect whenever I go out.
In addition, shadings on my nose too..
It is not obvious, even my boyfriend said that. However, I am not over with what had happened and always wish that I could turn back time. I am not holding any retribution against my brother though.

My question is how can I get over this unbalanced features?
I know my problem is nothing compared to the world doldrums out there or someone who has lost one of his or her legs, arms, or even loved ones.
But my heart is crying for help, furthermore I am extremely soft at heart and the fact that I loss my face over some worthless fight with my brother kills me even more. Of course I do know beauty from the inside matters even more and it will radiates the external beauty. It is hard for me because I am about to be a flight attendants hence look is important.
I never cry over what had taken place, only that at times, I cannot sleep thinking about it..
Yes, perhaps looks are important to me.. However, I never judge the other individual just by looking at their face. Ever.

Is there anything I can do medically to correct my bone structure?
On the other hand, are the any possibilities that I could “weirdly” plant something on my left cheekbone so it will appear even? Thank you guys so much for reading.
Love you guys. And for those who are about to despise me, I do not have anything to say.
