Happiness. And a feeling of peace.
Not like a buddist peace I guess. But just being happy. If you ever have that feeling like having a sea change. Thats your soul asking you what the meaning of life is. Is it working in a job you hate, in a house you feel cramped with a family you never see? Or is it taking a job you enjoy, or working from home. Seeing your loved ones more, and finding who you really are....before the life society says you were supposed to follow got in the way.

On that scale it becomes totally meaningless!
In 4.5 - 5 Billion years the earth get swallowed by the sun. IF humanity meanwhile has emigrated to other star systems, in about 10 Billion years the Milky Way will have died and in time everything will die due to entropy. Then nothing ever done will have meaning.
Even humanity's present endeavor of charting and discovering natural laws, thus writing a manual for the Universe, will come to naught. No one around to read it!!
