For instance, B-12 helps you remember you dreams. Sweets and sodas help alittle. But does anyone have anything else that is helpful with this?

bit of coffee before sleeping helps me. Also smoking some grass, but i rather not advice that. (holland.... ;-) Eating very little in the evening, going to bed early and not drinking any alcohol is also a better starting point for good dreams and good remembering. Nutmeg also works, as well as cinnamon (don't take big amounts nutmeg, two nuts can be the overdose that poison you). Besides all these drugs and spices, the best of all is still being a bit disciplined in writing down (or trying to remember stuff to write down):

i started writing down dreams. Just after waking up in the morning, without especially using alarmclock. First three days i could hardly write anything. three days after that i could write at least one dream per night and some vague parts.
after two weeks i was writing three at least every morning, and in very much detail. After a month it took me at least half an hour to write summaries of average seven dreams per night. I thought that was too much work so i quit.

Nice part is that from end of week two, i started having dreams in wich i was aware or half aware of it being a dream. (making me sometimes able to fly or influence my dreaming otherwise). These are called lucid dreams (type that in any search-engine and you will find more ideas about how to remember your dreams and influence them)

if you cannot remember anything, then try using your alarmclock as a help. Set it to one of these times: 1 h 15 min after falling asleep, or 3 h 10 min, or 5 hours or 6,5 hours after falling asleep) these times are your dream-periods (REM phases in your sleep cycle). Remember with this technique: disturbing your sleep makes you get tired... so don't do it too often, that is not healthy. Using the "snooze" function in mornings works for me: to fall asleep again, being woken up, fall asleep immediately again, being woken up after 10 min: in these half-awake half-sleeping mornings I tend to remember more of what i dream.
Well, i'm off to bed!

Keep a notepad and pencil by the bed. As soon as you wake up, jot down as many details about the dream as you can remember. It's important to do this as soon as you wake up from your dream, because as the day goes on, you will forget most or all of it.

As soon as you wake up write everything you remember down. Keep a small pad of paper and pencil near your bed. The longer you stay awake the more you will forget.

a pen and paper beside your bed. as soon as you wake from a dream, write it down. it takes a lot of will power, but it works, and just the act of telling yourself to do this, helps you remember them.

I had a friend once that kept a dream journal. That was neat. She'd just write them down when she woke up.
