It means........From Here To Eternity

The blood in your veins came from your
Grand parents, your parents, to you ,
to your children, to your grand children,
to your great grand children and on an on.
That blood has DNA, the building blocks of
man. It determines the color of your hair, your eyes,
how tall you will be, and anything that will make you
part of that group. H E R E D I T Y
If you want a more technical description, you will
need a good medical book, or go on line.

Heredity is the passing down of traits or characteristics through a family line. It can be something positive, like having a musical talent, or something negative, like a medical problem. Or something neutral, like eye colour or hair colour. So when you look at pictures of your ancestors - your grandmother's grandparents or whatever, you may see that there are resemblances to yourself or you brothers and sisters or cousins. Maybe you all have the same kind of nose or something like that. That is an example of heredity - a trait that is inherited.

heredity is by definition aspects of the animal that is passed down through genetic traits.

Eye color, skin color, hair color, disease conditions, are examples of what can be passed along. Speculation (albeit pseudoscience) is that talents are passed down. Talents from a objective point of view are the result of environmental modeling and NOT genetic heredity.
