I used to be very active...and all the time fighting for something...but then I realize that I can't change people if I yell at them....and I changed the tecnique...I just listen them...and don't argue... people around me are surprised by this... even I'm surpsrised....but I'm afraid ...suddenly I'm so quiet... Is this normal?

or I dont show emotion. I dont get it. If im at work, am I supposed to walk around with a big grin all day? This is how I look. If something is funny I laugh or smile. DOes anyone else get this? is there anything I can do?

my boyfriend has ALOT of family issues that keep him distant from everyone including myself. he's told me of some issues he has with his father that he's said that over the years it's made him cold and unable to show emotion. i'm not talking the (sometimes) usual tough man stuff. this is serious, serious stuff here. he told me that he wants me to help him love like i am able to love. he said he's never met anyone that loves him like i do and that he doesn't feel worthy of my love. he says he's not worth loving. i've tried and tried to make him feel worthy of love, but this is bigger than anything i can do. i told him yesterday that he needs help, and he agreed to seek counseling. i just don't know where to start. i will pay but neither one of us can afford $125 a week therapy sessions. does anyone know of anything in austin, texas that isn't so expensive? he doesn't have insurance, but he definately needs help. please help me!!!!!

It's driving me crazy I only got 13 %. And I’m not stupid. I only start it this year. And I feel more than bad about my self. I studied for it. And the boy next to me got 88 %. What should I do???? . I thought I got over 60 % before the results came out. I have a parent teacher meeting tomorrow, should I tell my mum to stand up for me about my result . i see this all the time from all sides of every issue, and we all know that its pointless to do, but i started wondering WHY do ppl do that? you see it from liberals, conservatives, ppl of most religions, ppl that follow no religion, evolutionists, anti evolutionists, etc.

is it out of insecurity, or a need to know that there are others out there like them? do they need validation of their own ideas? are they afraid of actual discussion?

what is the reason from a psychological standpoint? whats the reasoning?

we were driving around(the place it seems like we were in san francisco) you know you could see the city over the hills...suddently its so weird that the city is about to be cover with water.....so what we did we went out the car and look for a safe place to hide...and while were running i saw a big wave of water coming on the top of the hills too. i saw a place that is safe for us to hide(i know it was on the side of the gate of a house) i even remember that i told my son to hold his breath so he wont drown and after the water flushes to us...were actually safe and after that i saw a battalion of police..i thought they came to help us...but actually that battalion was hostage by the terrorist lots of them it seems that their going to invaded us all...i was so scared i even remember that one of the terrorist push me cuz i wasnt cooperating with them...and i woke up...what this dream about can someone seriously interpret this...thanks

For instance, I'll know in my mind that I have something to do, but myself just won't allow me to move on it. It seems as if things are so hard to accomplish for me even though they may be small things such as making doctors or dentists appointments. I'll say in my head, let me get up an do what I'm supposed to, but then I'll say to myself right in the same thought, I'll do it later.

My fiance and I have been together for 5 years. We have 2 beautiful children. Even though we have a ton of common intrests, we are very different. He is sort of "hippy" and I come from a very 'sophisticated' family. I'm always worried about what kind of clothes I have, never causing any 'bad attention' for my family, making sure everyone thinks we have this perfect relationship. I guess I am a perfectionist and it is driving my fiance insane. I wish I could just let go and be free to live a little and not care what everyone else thinks. Sometimes I think about him and his ex wife and get jealous because they look so right together. She has the same free spirit that he does and I would give anything to have that too.

I would appreciate any advice
