It's driving me crazy I only got 13 %. And I’m not stupid. I only start it this year. And I feel more than bad about my self. I studied for it. And the boy next to me got 88 %. What should I do???? . I thought I got over 60 % before the results came out. I have a parent teacher meeting tomorrow, should I tell my mum to stand up for me about my result . (you can only study economics in your last two years at school )

I know exactly how you feel. That happened to me with an economics exam, nearly 30 years ago now, and I'm still irritated about it. Unfortunately it is very easy to go completely off tack with economics. Get you teacher to go through the exam with you and see where the mistake were so you don't make them again.

No, you should not tell your mum to stand up for you at this time, given the facts you have provided. First talk to your instructor to find out where you went wrong on the exam and what you can do to perform better on the next exam. Many times students think they have studied sufficiently, but a detailed discussion of their process with their instructor clearly shows otherwise. Give your instructor a chance to help you. Finally, accept responsibility for the poor performance, tell your mum about the score and what you, with your instructor's assistance, are doing to improve performance on the next exam. Almost always poor performance on the first economics exam is a result of inadequate or inappropriate preparation that can be overcome by applying study information provided by an experienced instructor.

Don't fret, that just means you are destined to become a journalist or politician. None of them are able to understand Economics either.
