I used to be very active...and all the time fighting for something...but then I realize that I can't change people if I yell at them....and I changed the tecnique...I just listen them...and don't argue... people around me are surprised by this... even I'm surpsrised....but I'm afraid ...suddenly I'm so quiet... Is this normal?

I think you have learned the fundamentals of humanism. People are going to do what they are going to do regardless of what you might say (or yell). I find that most of the time people just want someone to talk to...after the mistakes have been made (even if you told them not to do it) they need someone to confide it. You are becoming that person..and I mean that in a good way.

I think you have made a change for the better. A lot of people can learn from what you have done. Often times, we try to help people by trying to change them -sometimes knowingly and sometimes unintentionally. Nevertheless, it is most important for us to focus on changing ourselves, making ourselves better people. One of the worse things we can do is lash out at others with our words and you have learned to control that in you. I think that is AWESOME!!!

All the best....

I wish I can be that strong to do something like that. Good on you, embrace the change, I know it will make you a nicer person and people will feel they want to listen to you more.

I think it is excellent that you have been able to do this. I am a yeller and would like to be able not to - perhaps you can teach me!!!!

You are probably a very good listener now that you aren't yelling.

Being quiet is not a bad thing!!

No, that is in no way NORMAL!!!! I have found people rarely change their M.O. (don't make me spell that ok?) and find a new one that works. You must be a true student of psychology and I bet the people around you and those who love you all profit from it. Love your Hat!!! Good Luck!!!! @8=)
