sometimes lyrics stay with you because those are stored on your subconcious(sp?) part...if you talked to someone while listening to music for instance you will still be analyzing the lyrics on it even tho you are not paying attention...like sleeping while listening to music works...you will be able to learn lyrics to a song even tho you sleep cuz your brain doesnt stop working even if you are not actually paying attention to whats happening around you...

when the backstreet boys were popular everyone was singing their songs and singing their lyrics. your were exposed to it so much that it was foreced into your long term memory. you too, probably, were interested in the backstreet boys in the sense that you liked their music. therefore you were interested making it easier to remember such things.
if you sit in math class and nobody is paying attention and your hardley are either then chances are it will be hard for you to learn what is going on.
if people went around 'singing' how to do calculs problems then calculus would be very easy for everyone. even if they are not good in math.
thats the whole point behind the school house rock series. its a cartoon movie that sings math problems and things like that.

The fact that you listened to BSB repeatedly. You were literally beaten to death until you can only remember these things and being such a repetitive and cheery toon. Great way to brainwash people. Just keep repeating the process and you will know it like the back of your hand *ahh, look at that, never knew that was there*

Song lyrics are stored in a different part of your brain than, say, history. You "learn" the song by singing it. You should try memory drills to help you learn stuff that you need to remember.

Because if we enjoy learning the information, we are more likely to internalize it. Whereas, if we learn it in a boring class room, we tend to keep that stuff on the surface. That's why sometimes I come up with little songs to remember things.

Because those lyrics are in your long term memory not the things you forget. Or maybe you just have recall memory on the thinks you forget.

i admire MCR and Backstreet Boys are fairly ok. they're sturdy, yet maximum human beings does not evaluate them the terrific contributions to song... regrettably. yet however, if we adore their song it is all that concerns!

you have to repeat something in your brain about 80 times for it to be stored in your long-term memory. when you want to remember something important, just visualize it in your head, and repeat it over and over.

Sit down, put your elbow on your knee, make a fist with the hand on that arm, and rest your jawbone on your fist...
... and think.
