when i drive over rivers, i get like the buttlerfly feelings in my stomach, is this somthing a'lot of people feel when driving over bridges with water under them? please tell me Thanx

That depends on the bridge. If it's the old-fashioned kind where you can see the water easily, YES! Newer bridges feel safer though.
However, I drive over a major river almost daily on both kinds of bridges and after a while I've gotten sort of used to it....

By driving over the river or bridge you are abandoning your ability to control a situation, in this case the vehicle. Crossing a river is full of uncertainty with respect to the depth, current and vehicle capabilities combined with the facts that you cannot see where you are driving (unlike a road). A similar thing applies to bridges. Once on the bridge you have no control if it collapses or you have an accident as the chances are you may end up in the river. In both cases take your time and be safe.

Try holding a dog over a tub of water. He will begin to swin. I saw this happen with one dog and he made the swimming motion even over the toilet and a cup of water! Your mind is telling you you aren't supposed to be there.
