What to do when u see someone trying to suicide themselfs??

Question

like what do I do if I see someone trying to jump off a building or do something else to commit suicide??

I mean what am I suppose to tell them so they don't kill themselfs??

i would try and confince them not to kill themselves and just talk to them for a while and if they are really like gonna do it i get someone to call 911 and i keep talking to them and find out what is wrong with that person but if that person after talking to them show that they are just putting up a show as a cry for attention then i know that they will not kill themselves cuz they love themselves too much so at this point i would just tell them "go ahead"-reverse psychology will usually work on ppl like that
but really it would be scary to encounter this kind of situation because the probability of something going wrong is almost certain so just be careful what u are getting urself into .......although it is bad to be apathetic somethings it is better if u do that and leave things in the hands of skilled professionals

Get help for this person and be supportive. Realize first though that there's only so much you can do. This person might have to be institutionalized in a mental hospital and be looked after by professionals.

What you do is try to talk them out of it by explaining to them that some people have it worse than they do.Or you can also offer your help to that person by asking them to confide in you and by giving them your testimony about a similar problem.
