more like the death of a relationship.Over a few years,we broke eachother's hearts a few times, although we were lovers and best friends. Now i broke his heart for the last time, but i lost my best friend at the same time.I want to be strong,i don't want to dwell, but how do i get over not having this constant in my life anymore?Pathetic as it sounds,i even told myself he was part of another chapter of my life and a new one was opening, and sometimes you have to leave people behind.its not helping though.maybe you can?

I have heard a lot of ones about men, which ones are 'larger', nicer, meaner, foot size, hand size, race. Are any out there from women? If so what are they?

Do you think that explaining love in terms of biological processes and evolutionary functions strips it of its beauty and meaning? I've heard some say it does. I say that regardless of how love originates or is explained, it's behaviors remain the same, so why not try to fully understand it? What do you think?

I believe sometimes pretty people can get away with things trolls couldn't or those not considered beautiful-although beauty is in the eye of the beholder....let's face it-if you have the body and face over someone who has the brains; but not the looks-sometimes people being shallow and all will hire you or date you-because if it's ncie they want it. What is your opinion?

I know it would seem obvious that I would just talk about eating and exercise in relationship to the New Year, but I believe it's really about the whole picture in regards to improving one's health and waistline -- not just about eating healthier and exercising more, but how we are living mind, body, and spirit.

It's more critical to figure out what you think is important to you in your life. What do you value? How do you want to spend your time? What is driving you -- stuff, cash, family, quality of life? Where does your health fall on this list?

So, when I ask how you can be a better human being in 2007, sure, I am trying to slip in eating better and moving with greater frequency, but we are just fit shells if we don't address the spirit within us. My body is only a vehicle, but my spirit is the true essence of who I am. If we can connect the dots, I believe that the ways we can be better are unlimited. Not to mention it can make things a lot more fun while we're here.

My boyfriend ALWAYS has to make new friends everywhere: elevator, parking lot, bathroom, walking, ALL THE TIME !
I love to have friends too, but I'm starting to think his excessive look for friendship could mean in psycology a hidden need for acceptance and being uncapable of enjoy life without been surrounded with other people.
Sometimes it's really UNBEARABLE ... He just runs to introduce himself and interrupt other's people life or conversation, and starts to narrate his life boring the others.
He thinks is excellent to be friendly, but I think this excess means something.
ANY PSYCOLOGIST ON DUTY?

I don't mean the annoyance of the alarm going off, or that very aware feeling being pissed off at the world that you have to get up...

I mean the first thoughts that you have as you're actually transitioning through that foggy area between sleep and wake (like, maybe what you would experience on a Saturday morning, when there is no alarm). What are your first conscious thoughts like?

and due to pollution. Whole world is worrying about the environmental pollution, but not that much worrying about the social pollution.

I have been to two doctors both seems to think that im in good shape.Blood pressure is fine, heart sounds strong and lungs clear.I also have a friend that is a nurse says there seems to be nothing wrong with me.I went to the doctors because I could hear my heartbeat and they said it was a benign condition caused by weight loss.I take meds for depression and see a therapist often, but when I start to feel that all is well fear strikes me again.I have seen so many commericals about heart attack and read so much im like one of those med students that diagnosis everything they read about.Im in my 50's and everywhere you turn there is something about heart attack or stroke. Now every time something doesnt feel right or sound right about my heart I worry and every little thing that could resemble a stroke just terrifies me.I want to get on with my life without worry.. How can I do that? I never realized how fragile we are and have never worried about this before.I cant get it off my mind.

This is gonna sound dramatic and perhaps stupid and deluded but...
it was one day when it was pouring down outside and i suddenly just got the notion to go outside. So i stood in the rain, and all these thoughts just rushed through my head and i realised exactly why i was having my current problem, and what i had to do to solve it and how to live my life from then on.the funny thing is i'm only 15,but i've been told by adults,by teachers, that i'm really mature for my age.i dont want to grow up to fast, but i feel a change.Like,i realised if something bad happens to me,i need to be strong and get past it because there's no point in dwelling. And i realised exactly what i want to do with my life this year, and i felt really positive,i've never felt this way before.I just feel a change. It confuses me and i dont really know what it is.Any ideas?

There was a period in my life, where I was depressed. I believe I got over it, though it was hard times. ( I was cutting myself and sleeping away my life basically) Though now, I can have one night of mopyness, (say not having ANYONE to be with for new years ect..) and BAM I feel depressed again. IT will probably pass quicker than it did in the past, but it hits me out of no where, and I feel like I have no reason to feel this way. But I do. Not alot of people understand. And yes, I have been to a therapist. She was pointless.
