I have heard a lot of ones about men, which ones are 'larger', nicer, meaner, foot size, hand size, race. Are any out there from women? If so what are they?

Why I'm asking is because I overheard some guys talking about me and my friends at school today. One guy said, "white girls are freaks... especially blondes. And Asians are..." that's what I could remember.

my observations:

that they are more emotional. That they are more likely to hold grudges. That they forget NOTHING. That they take longer to anger, but make up for it with a vengeance once they finally are. That they are more understanding but less forgiving. That they smell and feel better than we do. And that they have a lot of guts. And not the kind we have, our flushed-with-adrenaline with reckless disregard for consequences kind of guts. That they want it to work just as much as we do, and are just as frustrated and confused when it doesn't. And they are nearly impossible to live without, no matter how much richer or simpler or easier life would be without them

To just blow off stereotypes as if they were merely hallucinations of sick minds is the worst kind of mental cop-out, no matter how stylish mouthing that crap makes one appear. Anyone that's really had his/her eyes open in this life knows better.

I'm a Scot. And nearly all Scots are cheap (oh, call it frugal if you HAVE to). And they like to fight. And most of them are horrible pool and snooker players. That's where I'M an exception.

And there ARE exceptions, sure, but is there another full-blooded plaid skirt-skak out there that would deny that the "stereotypes" I just tossed off have no basis beyond groundless predjudice and media-induced hallucinations?

Stereotypes are stereotypes because they are often accurate, admittedly in varying and sometimes even immeasurably small degrees, but still real enough to make the predispositions they indicate a sensible inclusion in anyone's bag of human contact preparations.

And the fact that it's not stylish to admit that you've accepted, internalized and use the truths you've gotten not just from bigoted bather but your own observations makes YOU the one who is close-minded, paradoxical as that may seem.

Stereotyping people is a dangerous thing to do so those young men who were allegedly doing that were being mean. I have learned through the years that stereostypes are usually false. Like the stereotype that all asians are excellent at math. That is false.

Stereotypes of women are perpetrated by the media. What the media says women should be like is then thought to be the norm which is also false. I think the women who don't fit the stereotype are the most interesting. Another stereotype of housewives is that they do nothing but clean house and thats false. So there are many stereotypes that our media and society has put apon us and it is up to us on how we choose to fit or not fit in to those categories.

Let's be radical and not conform.
