When you do a PhD degree in social sciences, is it absolutely necessary to do surveys involving questionnaires or interviews? Is there any way around them, a research method that will not involve them?

Although i passed my test a couple of years ago i still became very anxious especially if i have to drive up on a hill (even with auto transmission car). this may seem funny to some of you but i need some tips please.

My driving lessons was not exactly a very enjoyable experience for me, i was under a lot of pressure as i unfortunately had this
instructor who was not so understanding and like to scold everytime i made mistake.

When i say bad, i mean as in immoral. Is it bad to express hormones going crazy? Everyone goes through it at some point, but that won't make it right, right (technically that's my question) ?

i am 22 and for almost 12 years now ive had a feeling I have a power that allows me to see the future and that i have some sort of connection with a higher power that helps me do thing, ie affect the environment.
This has made life difficult as sometimes it seems so real that its undenyable and others have witnessed it (premonitions) but sometimes I just feel really low because I feel like im mental and this isn't a right way to live. Having a double life like this where its secret from everyone is hard. Either I posses a great gift or im just weird. It has been getting to me more often lately and thoughts of suicide are really starting to scare me. Help isn't an option in my situation, has anyone else had anything like this?

This is England where community groups are targetting people they do not like and getting ASBOs assigned to them, so they can be legitimentally persecuted to further the political preferences of the right wing Government.

Ultimately, to further the interests of the landowners and power brokers.

There was a question asked earlier inquiring about the most overlooked group subject to racism. There was an overwhelming response saying that white people are the most overlooked victims of racism. Do white people seriously feel that they are being oppressed in this country?

I am 17 years old and every once in a while I have dreams of my dad molesting me or looking at me pevertedly, I'm trying to get away or go somwhere and can't or I'm running away from him. I just don't know why in the world it has to be my father out of all people. My dad lives with me. And when I am in the dream I feel the emotion and fear as if it really is happening. It is affecting the way I deal with my father, it has broken the trust and am afraid to be alone with him, hug him, or wear certain things around him. He's asked me certain questions before like am I wearing any panties under whatever or do I have on a bra and SINCE i have those dreams I found it disturbing. He asked it in front of my mother and I was disturbed and my mom said it's just because he cares and doesn't want me walking around like that, I understand but it's just weird to me. I feel bad because my dreams keep leading me to feel this way and I have had these dreams for the longest.

Being independent does not mean having no friends at all. But I want to know why teens from middle school to high school and maybe even college want to have friends? Like, they feel loser-ish if they don't have any friends. Why do they have to be emo and depressed and sad when they don't have any? I know one good friend is better than many bad ones but why do teens want the latter so badly? I would like solutions to these questions and answers and maybe how teens could behave when they are friendless and or how to make friends and get new ones. Or how to chose their friends and to be themselves around them and to be honest around them. This is all very complicated but I really would like to know the answers and solutions. Thank you

Chloe
