Because I am someone who has not experienced anything that appears to be premonition, but because I know some people seem to be psychic, I cannot comment on the premonitions things.
I do know that people who have a certain type of high intelligence can take in some much information and size up situations so well they can appear to be able to predict the future because they can look at any "snapshot" of a situation and kind of automatically process possible and probably outcomes.
Many people with a certain type of high intelligence also feel a sense of a "higher calling" and/or a very strong sense of spirituality.
One question you may want to ask yourself is this: Of all the premonitions you ever have what percentage to out to be correct? Are you only noticing that many of them turn out right and overlooking a whole bunch that don't?
It does occur to me that you could have some ego involved with your wish to not lead a double life; because there are people who have gifts of one sort or another, keep them a secret, and don't care about who knows about them. Your wish/need to be open about what you are perceiving (correctly or not) would seem to show this gift you may/may not have is very important to you; and it would seem you want people to know about it and know you. Some people with special gifts consider them so intimate and private they have no wish to let anyone know about them.
Since you've had this going on since you were a child, and since you're still just 22 (brains aren't always finished maturing until early to mid twenties), chances are being lonely has been a factor for you. I know 22 is not a child, but you cannot realize how young it is; and because of that I think its really, really, important that you find someone to talk to (a psychologist or psychiatrist) about the "whole picture".
If you're experiencing suicidal thoughts (and particularly because you're as young as you are) saying "help ins't an option ISN'T an option".
If money or insurance is the issue there is treatment available that doesn't have to cost you. You may need to apply for assistance with insurance or to apply for some kind of uncompensated care arrangement, but help does exist. If you work you may have to sign up for a health plan in your area or work out payments with someone, but not getting help is not an option.
Nobody has to know if you talk to someone. For all you know, they may tell you there's no need to talk more than once to figure out what's going on.
One sign of good mental health is that a person is pretty comfortable with the idea of just checking out the situation with a professional. If someone for some reason says, "help is not an option" that can be a sign that there is a problem.
If you got an assessment of your intellectual abilities it could offer an explanation as to exactly whether you're actually having premonitions or just kind of having the skill to automatically and kind of subconsciously process information related to a situation and kind of automatically knowing the most likely outcome.

Hi there
Firstly let me tell you that you are not crazy! I have been lucky enough to see the odd thing. I went for hypnotherapy and the hypnotherapist was also a medium (which I didn't know before I went). She was able to shed some light on my experiences. I have seen things in my third eye (which is kind of like in the centre of the forehead). Images can appear briefly, maybe the images are surrounded by light. As well as seeing things, you might have feelings about things that later happen. You sound like you're clairvoyant (which is French, meaning clear seeing). This is a gift and you are very lucky.
You feel you're going crazy because no one else around you has this ability. But, don't worry! You are not crazy! You need to speak to people who have similar gifts.
You need to go to your local spiritualist church. There will be people there who have the same gift as you. They will talk to you about it and help you understand it, how to use it (if you want to).
You can find your local spiritualist church through Google, through a local business directory. They will welcome you and it will all be very relaxed. No one will put any kind of pressure on you or anything. Just go along and have a chat about it.
You may or may not chose to use this gift in the future. But the people at the spiritualist church will help you understand the experiences you're having.
There are loads of books as well on the this subject at the library and in book shops in the mind, body and spirit section.
Feel free to email me
All the best

Some of world history's greatest minds have had this feeling. Want a few examples ? Socrates ( his "daimon" that led him ), Alexander the Great, Pico della Mirandola, Cantor, Glenn Gould, Gandhi. There is nothing unusual about it. It is our western culture that is biased against it. You simply have it in quite strong a degree.
I have it myself in a weak degree, in the sense that I always know where to go. I am never lost, neither geographically nor logically, and sometimes see solutions earlier than other people. I donot think of it as of "a power" or "a higher presence", but that doesnot matter.
The best thing you might want to do, is link up with other people who have the same experience, and realize you have been gifted with something of great value, something deeply human.

No, and why isn't help and option? No insurance? It's better to deal with this stuff head on, if you need help with insurance there are plenty of places that can help.

you need to talk with others who have the same 'gift'. find out how they deal with it. go to a psychic fair, or look them up in the yellow pages or newspaper.
don't kill yourself--there are lots of people to talk to.
