There's a lot of omplaining going on about the young and their behaviour. Is this any worse than other stages in history? Are their cultural reasons for this? If it is happening, how old is it?
Briefish answers and citations appreciated.

At one point it wasn't 'her'. I know firsthand my daughter wasn't 'born' with BPD. She came by it as 'naturally' as I did -- sort of recycyleld onto us. This makes this harder. She knows what BPD is -- and isn't. She has watched me detox and break free from something I never knew I had. She has been blessed with generational perspectives and insights. Has seen herself in us all. She told me 'she finally has the mother-daughter relationship she always wanted'. This past year we spent alot of time in her college town; just the two of us. Healing. Laughing. Talking. Listening. Since she has been home for Thanksgiving and now Christmas, she has reverted back to an even angrier more black and white f--- you place. It's like I've lost her -- like my arm isn't long enough to pull her out of the well. We had company over the holidays; this seemed to trigger her backward. Her behavior was bullying. We're back to love-hate. No gray. How do I get her into counseling? Does DBT require a prescrip?

How do you move on and forget the past?

I know I need to but I can't seem to. Even after 8 years there is someone that hit my heart and I just can't get over it. We did not have a relationship or anything, she was just always there from me, and now she doesn't want to know. She refuses to communicate with me at all. I'm stuck thinking of the past all the time.

How can a person be considered both arrogant and patronising? Is this some kind of joke? I don't understand. I have often wondered about this phrase, where did it come from? How can one person be both arrogant, and at the same time patronising? Does it actually have a good meaning?

Recently it's become apparent to me that I get spoken over a lot, and unknowingly to me, I've been shunted to the back at work because I'm the "easy going guy" who never throws his toys out his pram. People don't bother acknowledging me when I walk in the room and I tend to wait about until they're ready to see me, whereas I am concious that it's rude to keep people waiting. Am I just too much of a pushover or what?

This isn't doing my career or social life any favours whatsoever.
So how do I become that little bit more assertive, especially at work where I now feel like people need reminding exactly how hard they're life would be if I stopped playing ball all the time.

I got a job at a school teaching something. All the teachers were tasked with taking the students on trips. I was informed that I would be driving the bus for this trip. I explained that I didn’t have the experience of driving a bus, but was told that I had to anyway. I even put it in writing, and got a letter back saying that if I didn’t, I wouldn’t have a job. For some reason, I couldn’t get another job, so I had to do the bus driving. So we went off down the road on a rainy day. The wipers were going back and forth, the students were normal, yelling and screaming, singing songs, chanting chants and generally having loads of fun. Driving was bad, but I was coping. The bus had this tendency to fight against me every minute. I had to press the brakes hard, and put the hand brake on, when the gear shift was in neutral, or else the bus would slowly move forwards or backwards, depending on what gear I had previously had the gearshift in....

A lot of you might think this isn't an important question, but I need some counsel (and prayer). A year or two ago, I used to be filled with joy, happiness, wisdom, knowledge, and morals. A few weeks into my second quarter and my thoughts were becoming darker. I started feeling frustrated during the day, and 100% mad at night if I didn't get to do what I wanted to do.

I like the field of astrology just for quick reference, and I am a Scorpio. They say it is either you're happy, or you're purely upset. This is true for me. Recently when conversation in my family gets really hot, I tend to explode. I start yelling the F-word constantly, like I have tourettes. It makes me want to beat up anyone I would consider my relative "enemy".

I'm having problems with my friends, my family, school, my own personal interests, and with myself. I, right now, have only one true friend who understands me, because he has been through something similar. If anyone hears me out there, please answer!

I am 24 years old and never had a paid job. The only "work" experience I have is probably volunteer work when I was in high school and college doing community service. Other than that, I have nothing. And because of my lack of experience, I really don't know what kind of job is right for me. Plus it doesn't help that I have been turned down repeatedly for jobs this past year which has been discouraging me. I applied for jobs related to my degree like counseling, teacher's aid, but none of those offered me a position. I also applied to hotels, restaurants, and department stores and still no luck. Probably because of my lack of experience or they just don't like my personality. Now I just feel hopeless. I'm turning 25 and I am still unemployed...is this even normal? What should I do? I tell my parents that I want to go back to school and take up Nursing but they tell me that I'm only wasting time when I should be working already. I am under pressure, should I be? Please help
