How do you move on and forget the past?
I know I need to but I can't seem to. Even after 8 years there is someone that hit my heart and I just can't get over it. We did not have a relationship or anything, she was just always there from me, and now she doesn't want to know. She refuses to communicate with me at all. I'm stuck thinking of the past all the time.

Maybe looking at this from a different angle could help.
The past cannot change. Period. Worrying about it will make you crazy. You don't have to forget. Trying to will make you crazy. Think about this: Look at the relative area of your windshield as opposed to the rear view mirror. It's obviously more important to look at where you're going than where you've been.

Why not, Haven't u read the Famous poem:

My dear friend Just concentrate on something else, Engage Ur self in some good things study books, Move along with friends enjoy the nature and above all just meditate a little for mental peace,
Just join "Art of Living Courses" , Meditate a little and just u have overcome that situation.

I understand what you are going through although in my case I have been the girl who has been always there and just want to be the girl who would always be there. Perhaps the fact is you are destined to end up with another girl. I hope you will find that girl who will replace the girl you have been heartbroken by
