Can we predict one's future if we live in a controlled environment. For eg. as in "The Truman Show" , where the number of people in Truman's life is governed by the director.

Humanity is the ultimate variable, so as long as there any humans involved whatsoever, any future would be unpredictable.

I think you're confusing predicting and controlling. Yes, if you lived that way you would be living off a script and "controlling" the future. Predicting and konwing are two different things.

Also, in a child, there are certain traits internal at birth are a controllable. Kind of example would be gay/straight. If you took a gay boy and raised him 100% with only female intervention, would he end up straight? You can't teach certain things due to personality. Some is controlled by our surrounding, but we can never be 100%.

Considering the wild array of variables needed to even attempt such a feat, I highly doubt that any model could even attempt to accurately predict life. Indeed, life is so full of random and chance events, that there is no way any mathematical model could hope to predict anyone's future.

I don't think so ... if you consider siblings ... say before the age of 4 you can see different personalities exist with typically limited exposure to people ... I don't think a controlled environment would change your personality ... or your future
