I've heard the phrase a few times, but I don't really have a discription of Emo. I believe it means being a crybaby and feeling sorry for yourself. I seem to be switching emotions a lot. I do not think I am Emo, but I would never label myself. I don't think any of you would, either. I try not to label other people, and I have never called anyone Emotional. I don't think emotions are a bad thing, though. They're just showing that you care, aren't they?

What usually works for you? I know everybody is different but I'm trying to get ideas that can help when feelings of sadness and hopelessness hit the hardest. They can be so hard sometimes !!! No thoughts of harming myself or others though.

I guess when I say this, I mean it seems that those you regard as your closest friends are sometimes not interested, or rather they don't have the time in the day for you. And I say this because I do honestly feel that I do get the 'cold shoulder', as it were, or ignored if you like. Why do people do that? It's something I don't do, and would never do - it's just too sh1tty a thing to do.

I don't have many friends, so those I do have I value a lot. And well, the question here is: What do you do when you are in need of a friend? I'm sad to say that I throw myself into work rather reluctantly, but it does numb the pain, I guess. Can anyone help? I'm interested in what people think.

Thank you for reading / bothering to answer my question - I appreciate it. I'm being serious here, so to this end, if you could, pleas leave serious answers!! : )

Best wishes to you.....

I feel that i am extremist in my actions, behaviour, thoughts and routine. The problem is that i feel extremity towards both ends e.g.one time i'll sleep a lot and nest time i'll be awake for 36hours.Whenever i think of something one time it'll be this and other time it will be that .I am stuck in this two way extremity of my mind and thoughts.Sometime i cant figure it out that what is the real "me".Sometime there will be no one more relegious than me and other times i'll be acting as most Liberal person on Earth.I want to know that is it normal behavour?.Or is it some kind of Disease?.How can I discover real me?.And how can i change this behaviour because sometimes it really irritates me.

When I talk to him, he disagrees and says I'm incorrect, but further in discussion, it turns out we agree. I say, "That's wtf I was just saying to you?!!! WTF is your problem? Why is it so hard for you to comprehend what I'm saying to you?!!! We are saying the same stuff but you don't even realize it until 10 seconds later?!". Or I'll ask him a yes or no question. When the answer is no, he'll tell me I'm wrong and then start saying the same thing I said, just worded differently. This is REALLY a freakin' headache and I don't know how much more of this I can take. I love him but when he does this, I feel rage. Like I want to kick his *** or something. Why won't he just listen and comprehend what I'm saying before opening his mouth? Is this some sort of condition, or something? Or is he just playing mind games with me or trying to get a rise out of me?

I've noticed that some people will silently mouth the words of another person when the other person is speaking, and they seem to do this without realizing it. In some extreme cases that I've witnessed, not only does the person silently mouth the words, they even make the same faces that the person speaking is making. Anyone know if there's a name for this act? I know "mimicking" describes this, but I'm sure there must be a clinical phsychological term for it. Thanks!

In 1934, Britain owed the US $4.4bn of World War I debt (about £866m at 1934 exchange rates). Adjusted by the Retail Price Index, a typical measure of inflation, £866m would equate to £40bn now, and if adjusted by the growth of GDP, to about £225bn. They have repaid the re-construction loans from WWII but haven't paid a penny on the older debt. Why is that?

And not the person themselves? I mean, because they are an "escape" for you. I hear of patients falling for their Psychiatrists, and so forth. (just an example)

If an alien intelligent life form landed on earth today and wanted to purchase everything on earth...how much should he/she/it expect to pay?

The purchase would include ALL developed and un-develeoped land as well as infrastructure and resources contained therein.

But not the people themselves.

Why is that whenever I mention to anyone who is male that I am a feminist they assume that I am a lesbian? I think its absolutely appalling that I get that reaction!! I am a straight strong-willed women who is getting married but that has nothing to do with what I believe in. Lesbians, women, independant hardworking women, we are all the same in wanting to believe in womanhood. What are your thoughts?
