Okay the part about pork may seem logical but dogs being unclean? Lots of things are somewhat unclean but we don't go running from them...such as air polution, our drinking water, the bugs and cancers that the government says is allowed (some%) in our food and so on. Dogs? ...Please give me a break.

For the past few years, each time a major life event is about to occur I dream about a Shaman indian coming to visit me. He usually brings symbolic hints of what is to come and generally signifies major life changing events. Many times the death of a loved one with hints as to the specific details. Part of me says, "yah, this is just your subconscious figuring it all out and the Shaman indian is just a symbolic person to lay it all out for you", but there's another part of me that knows it's just not possible because some of these "warnings" about upcoming events have been real mind-blowers such as unexpected deaths, views of unique and specific places I've not even known I was going to visit, etc. EXTREME details. Kind-of freaky! I'm dreaming of the Shaman Indian again and lucid dreaming at that where I'm physically seeking him out to get more detail. Are there any specific dream interpretations that involve Shamans or is this just my "weird" thing?

I had an idea, maybe you can help me. What if the whole world agrees not to let anybody sell food, only let them buy it. That way, when you buy too much, you can only give it away, and if your hungry and you eat your roommates food, they can't try to make you pay for it.

I was walking down a sidewalk, and I noticed my right shoe lace was untied. I bent down to tie it, then I was approached by 3 guys younger & smaller than me (I'm a tall guy). One of them asked me where I was going, and I mentioned something about a mall nearby. As I was saying this, he (already having bent down) pushed my hands away from my shoes and untied that shoe again. This went on for a moment until I stood up and tried to step away from him. Then he and the other 2 guys started hitting me (3 on 1) and forced me to stop. I went back to trying to tie my shoe, then next thing one of them must have knocked me out. Next thing I was being dragged towards one of three ladders (I was indoors now somehow). I saw one girl I just recognise from school, and never pay attention to, unconcous and being carried towards one of the other ladders. Then as I was pulled up the one ladder, I could see something confuzing above me...
Then I woke up.

What does this dream mean?

A group of friends and I were discussing this topic the other day. My friend (male) told us that the women he dated seemed respond better if he treated them poorly (name calling, verbal abuse) in comparision to if he treated them with the upmost respect. I didn't totally agree with that, but being tottally honest with myself, I believe that there may be some truth behind it. I picked up a reading a book entitled "Men Who Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them", where I leared that this type of behavior is very commen. What are are views on this topic from your life experience?

Ok you remember that I asked awhile ago about a 70yr old married instructor that was ogling me sexually, I felt uncomfortable and sick I gave up the assignments and took the finals in the library? No I don't want him I'm 22 I want EDUCATION!

Ok well I'm really upset that when I went in to talk to him and explain what I did on the test,(I went in because three of my favorite female instructors were out in the building close to his office). Well in the end he called me stupid(well he said space cadet).

Ok I am not stupid. Ugh Just because I have to get help and try to understand accounting and forget how to do something does not mean I'm stupid! I have an IQ of 118!

Ok anyway Some people said to report him. I can do it anonymously so should I do it as soon as I get back to school? Suggestions?

Ugh I am so pissed off that I don't care if he loses everything!

I can't understand why people will engage in annoying/destructive/malicious (and any other negative behavior you can think of) behavior simply because they know they won't be caught or found out. I suppose it's a lack of empathy; then again, some people appear to have empathy (or at least, an understanding of the pain/discomfort they cause other people), and yet they thrive on knowing that they are hurting someone.

My apologies; if I continue, I'll go off on some tangent. I'll save the rest for another question, another day.

I thought he meant I space off but I'm having doubts so I looked it up and it meant someone that doesn't live in reality or something. I am nowhere near that! Lazy and a procrastinator ya but not a space cadet!

He told me this after the finals test I took in the library(because he was sexually eyeing me the week before finals).

So tell me what it means so I can go back to his office correct him and call him a creep with dirty old man syndrome! Thanks!

Why are we so interested in their lives?

Why do we care about their marriages, their kids, their breakups?

Do you think they enjoy our obsession over them?

Is all we read in STAR and all the other gossip magizines a lie created by Hollywood to hide their real lives?

Are they actually not as glamouse and as perfect as we imagion them to be?

Are they really attention craving people?

Do you think they purposly get themselves hooked on cocaine just so they can go to rehab and get in the gossip collum again?

Do they really intend to divorce someone after a month, or did they really belive they were going to work?

And why are we so facenated about this?

Is it because our own lifes are not as fashionable?

That we must obsess over them to make ourselves feel better?

Or is it just a subconsiouse need to read about others private failures, with no 'hidden meaning' attached?

Why is it that a girl, who loves life and is very loving and rarely angry, prefers dark colors, killing people in stories(fictional people) and can think of the most awful ways to die? Also why when she writes is it always about a guy and if there is a girl it's usually only a side character?

How do you manage to keep your chin up hearing sth like the following:
"Oh I forgot dear! You've never been married!"
"Just a waiter? Mine is a doctor!".
"Lisa is so much funnier than you! You need to relax a bit"

God I really hate those people. Why do they do this?
