Okay the part about pork may seem logical but dogs being unclean? Lots of things are somewhat unclean but we don't go running from them...such as air polution, our drinking water, the bugs and cancers that the government says is allowed (some%) in our food and so on. Dogs? ...Please give me a break.

They refuse to read or believe the part in the Bible where God cleansed all things for our use,in the New Testament, because they do not believe Jesus is the son of God,merely a prophet.
They will not read or even try to listen because they are afraid they may learn the truth.Much like athiests & agnostics.

It's true that muslims must clean themselves if they were to touch a dog. But only if the dog is wet because germs breed in moisture. In Islam, it is forbidden to harm any animal, unless as a source of food.

sometimes it is our on judgments that are tricked. i grew up being dragged all over the country as dad trained troop, i learned that the home is very nice place and we got the best country in the world right here in America, so when you want to do transpirational thinking it is healthier that actual facts of what is a third world culture and what does it lack. real people have died trying to enjoy themselves where life is realities least concern, get it on dvd & leave the snickers in the closet

that's not what they mean by "unclean" - it means you are not supposed to eat them....!..... understanding another culture takes a great deal of effort, it's not easy... I like what Muhammed Ali (the boxing champion) said on a show about his life ... something about violence has nothing to do with true Islam...it's about peace with God.....
catch that show, if you can, it was great! and VERY entertaining !
