Thank you in advance for your time!

Please keep it clean, no name-calling and no mention of any particular business...make up a name if you like....

Something you can share...
....that will help prevent someone else falling into the same trap/booboo/mistake.
...that you wish you had never done.
...that you should have been warned about.
...that you lost money and won't ever get back from _____.

(Hope this may help deal with a loss... just knowing that you might help someone today or sometime in the future should be a nice little reward)

I'm interested as I has someone close to me kill himself over 10 years ago and I still think of him and what happened. I am interested in hearing your story, whether you've had someone close to you commit suicide or if you have attempted or considered it yourself.

Could someone who is a psychiatrist, or has experience in the field, tell me what is involved in a psyc. analysis? Specifically one focused on anxiety. Also, what is the difference between a psychiatrist and a psychologist?

Thanks.

For the record, I am strongly opposed to globalization. But if the North American countries (the USA, Canada, Mexico, and perhaps some Carribean and Latin American nations ... technically they are part of North America, too) formed a union similar to the European Union, would it work?? Or would it be extremely harmful to the U.S. and Canada, who are the only real economic powers in North America? Would there be ANY benefits to a North American Union?

I just met the woman, who may be tho one. We met online, and she said something to me.
And that was that she had a premonition about
our future together. She ends her letters with,
with love, or I love you. But she said a phrase that is rather unique. And made me realize, that
maybe she is for real. And that was, I chose to
love you in silence, for in silence I find no rejection. And another was, I am in fear of how much I love you. Now if you are a psychologist,
or doctor, or psychic. Then it may be easier to
determine, if a person who says this, has
been tramatized. What do you think. A bad
breakup occured, and now she is willing to risk
it all, for me. Tell me. is this woman, real or
fake ? That is the question. May the best answer win...

I'm taking a criminal justice class at SFSU. The professor gave a lecture on serial killers and mentioned the Zodiac killer. Anyone can tell me a little about him/her because I don't know anything about those murders? I just want to get a brief idea of the story so that I may pick him/her and do more research for my paper. Thanks

I have a theory that we are biologically wired to distrust outsiders and people who look different. When we were hunter gather societies different groups of people probably fought over limited resources, good hunting territory, good water sources, etc, etc. Could it be that we are genetically pre-disposed for racisim?

Many politicians anc celebrities lend their name to all types of endorsements for personal gain or for their favorite charity. In this cause if Nancy Pelosi were to lend her name and "cause" to Tucks or other suitable hemorrhoidal treatment it could also be used as a teaching aid for most poltical science courses. Generally cause and effect relationships when teaching politcal science and world history are focused on when talking about world calamity or in this case bad political judgement, fiscal or otherwise. My point here is very simple...any small business owner or working indiviudal with a mindset on the tax payments due soon is keenly aware of what failed tax and spend polices like the ones introduced in january can do. Further we all know the eventual effect to the taxpayer with this type of pork barrelling. I thought in this situation with the finish of the iraqi power grab in january the moral is quite simple. If you cause the pain, why not offer a paying solution for it

sorry its long

my mum quit work in the 80's to bring me and my lil brother up. my dad earned enough so this was cool. we moved to a different town in the early 90's when i was 7 coz my dad got promoted.
after this i cant ever remember my dad taking my mum out at night by themselves. they never got a babysitter or family to look after me n my bro.
they never had friends over for drinks or meals.
my mum didnt have to work so she hasnt made any friends round here.

my mum and dad got divorced 5 years ago. i moved out 2 years ago. now my bro works and he wants to move out and in with his girlfriend.
my dad is now engaged to someone else.

my mum however doesnt have any friends and hasnt met anyone new. she wants to but since my dad never took her out she never met new people or made friends. she comes across shy and unconfident and doesnt get jobs she applies for.

i really want to help her overcome this. she is lonely but seems scared to go out there.

what could i do?

it seems so counter-intuitive as well as counter-productive to pursue someone who is not available... so really, what is the draw? why do people waste so much time and energy chasing that which is unattainable?
