If I can't share everything with my husband-- there's really no point in being married. Love exposes itself. Makes itself vulnerable. Takes a chance. When you're loved emotionally naked like that, you've really got something.

ps Whatever makes and keeps you close, such as knowing all, leads to emotional intimacy. And emotional intimacy makes physical intimacy all the better!

I keep an online myspace blog. My husband can read it (if he could remember the webaddress). I have also kept a paper diary/journal in the past, which I actually hid at the time. I guess I hid it because I felt that some days I might write something that I didn't really mean, like I was trying to discover things - more of a mood journal, and just in case I wrote something I didn't quite mean, I hid it. I didn't want to cause any problems in my relationship with my husband just because I was exploring my emotions and discussion my feelings/dreams etc.

I had a boyfriend that had one, and one day nosey me read it. Wish I did not , the relationship went down the tubes after that. There were things about old girlfriends, pictures etc. I learned my lesson. It was personal. Thoughts in writing, not my business, I don't have a diary, but I have thoughts and sure would not like someone to be able to read my mind. We all need to keep some things secret.

No, I do not keep a journal. If I did though I would not want my significant other to read it. Mainly because it would have information regarding them and perhaps some venting that I wouldn't want for them to see.

Yes i do, and no i wouldnt mind- if you cant share everything with your significant other, then whats the point of being with them? Besides, secrets can be very destructive when it comes to any sort of relationship. And as women, we're all about emotions, why not actually help your partner understand your "feelings" and thoughts a little better....

I keep a journal. He could read it if he wanted to. It wouldn't matter to me because there isn't anything in there that I wouldn't want him to read.

yes
I wouldn't mind. I don't have secrets.
But I really don't like other people touching my things.
I'd prefer to read it to him.
