I will attempt to post this question without offending women. Please attempt to take it seriously.

My question comes from the expression meaningless sex that women often quote. They often say this when talking about a sexual ecounter that had nothing else but sex.

For most men the only thing we want out of sex is pleasure. For what I have observed, most women want the pleasure, but are not completely satisfied unless there was something else they got out of it. What I mean is that it appears that women need more out of sex than just the pleasure of it. It could be the complete undivided attention and affection of a man, or it could be something material. All I am saying is that it appears that most women not only want the pleasure of sex, but are constantly thinking what else can they get from it.

So it apears to me that the only way to add meaning to sex is by giving something else.

It is just an opinion that I hope I worded properly without offense.

This law will allow single mothers the chance to ask police whether their new partner is a sex offender, yet the same isn't true for single dads. Sexist?

This law 'protects' women who drink too much, and are therefore unable to give meaningful consent to sex, but what protection is there for men who are too intoxicated to give consent?

First off, I'm an adult (by age if nothing else), so I'm a not tempermental teenager (not to discount their emotions). I haven't had an easy relationship with my parents, and I accept my share of the responsibility for that, but I don't think my anger toward them is a result of any specific incident(s). Everytime I see them, I just feel this deep-seated frustration about why they brought me into the world. It seems that life is just a struggle; exhaustion, depression, judgment, and loneliness. Time doesn't seem to be helping, either. I'm just wondering if others share a similar feeling toward their parents.

The number 9 always makes me feel like whatever i accomplished was insufficient, like in terms of anything that requires a number. Example are grades in school, test scores, or scores in games or sports. I mean number 9 makes it seem as if you've almost reached the next level, that level being a new base 10, yet you weren't good enough to actually attain a little more in order to enter that base. like people would get mad if they got an 89 percent as a grade in school, because they almost reached the next level, that being an A, yet they only received a B+, relating to the saying "so close, yet so far". this is how i feel alot whenever i receive a 9 in terms of anything, since quality and acheivements are frequently measured in numbers, it makes me feel as if i lacked the ability to enter that next level, and the disappointment i have in failing to do so annoys me. i'd rather be the worst in a higher level than the best in a lower level, but does anyone have this mentality as well?

I have just ended a relationship that was unhealthy for the both of us. But basically it has ended with me being charged with common assault for slapping him because he would not leave my home after me asking him repeatably and ignoring me. I know it was wrong but something inside me just snapped and I wanted control back of my life again. Anyway I miss him so much and I am not angry and I should be! Its three weeks since this happened and he has taken an AVO out on me. I just dont understand, I am not a violent person at all and it scares me that I am damaged from all this crap (trust me there is lots lots more) and that its all my fault. I feel very hopeless and would love some advice and feedback on this. I wish I could explain more but do not have enough room. But its quite bizarre and he was a pot addict (about 15-20 cones a day) which I know contributed but he seemed so together at times. I feel like I never knew him :(

I am being totally serious. I want to know if there is a drug you can take that nullifies the sex drive to the point that you don't think about it anymore. I'm sick and tired of trying everything in my power to be with someone and it never working out. All it does is make me feel awful and alone and in so much pain. I am sick of people saying they love me and then lying about it. I have been led on and hurt so many times that I can't take it anymore. I want it to go away. I'm sick of having it and I'm sick of dealing with it. Whatever it is that makes me so undesirable to women, I'm sick of trying to find it. I try everything: fat or skinny; smart or dumb; happy or sad; aloof or gregarious; funny or serious. How I dress and act and talk and finally throwing all pretense away and just being me. And no one gives a ****. I just want it to go away because there is not one women who gives a **** whether I live or die. I am totally serious. Please help me.

I work with two people that answer almost every question with a lie, daily. For instance, today I asked where a co-worker was in conversation and they said she had quit. They kept saying seriously, and then she walked in, not knowing what they were saying. It's okay once a month, but everyday? Any smart comebacks for people that think lying shows some sort of superior intelligence ?

Or are shopping in a store, do you ever think of murdering someone? Do you ever get the feeling that you are just so high above everyone else but they just can't see it and you want to show them?
