I mean if a person wants to change in lifestyle or stuff like, can hyponotism help?

actually hypnotism does not have a permanent effect on you... it depends whether you are willing to be hypnotised... if you are then when you are hypnotised you will still be conscience it wont be like an extreeme mind makeover....not permanent

Hypnotic suggestion can only work if the person is open to the suggestion.If a person wants to change then hypnotism may be helpful in giving a person a new perspective.But ultimately the change still must occur by the individual and no amount of suggestion can make a person change.It is only meant to give a path to follow when used in this context.

Yes with medication. Otherwise no, it is not always fool proof. Like the stop smoking thing, a doctor I know went to a hypnotist, he went in and it worked for him and he did not smoke again. His wife went in and she kept smoking and needed to go again and get the medicine and then she eventually stopped smoking.
I know Houdini used Hypnotism in his act, he used to watch a crystal ball hypnotise himself and then dislocate his shoulder so he could escape from the straight jacket and he did not feel the pain at all. But that is without medicines and a very rare talent.

No I was a big fat kid who loved food I went to A HYPNOTIST for a while he tried to tell me I was skinny and didn't love food, It didn't work. 2 years later I lost weight by dieting and exercise .
