Social Science - 27 December 2006

Think about this...If every country in the world united and decided to get rid of currency and pledged to share their resources with the rest of the world freely and likewise receive resources from all the other countrys pledged to doing the same thing could we eliminate the worlds problems primarly poverty but there are lots of other positive things that come to mind. Everybody would have to do a job and in return receive whatever they needed to live comfortably. Companies and businesses would continue freely manufacturing, and would in turn receive whatever they require to grow and deliver their products. In a nutshell every aspect of modern day society would continue doing what they do but for free and in return receiving all the elements they need to continue growing and producing to support the rest of the world. Would this work or have i just smoked too much hydro this morning?

I'm need of Web-based resources that provides low-income communities with information and tools to serve their unique needs. I should like to take advantage of educational and employment opportunities on the internet because I believe that every community should have a chance to benefit from a networked global society. I have spent most of my time studying and writing about the social and economic crisis and its effects on poor rural people in Zambia. I have noticed that most young people have been forced by economic desperation to support themselves in ways that harm their lives and the environment, such as drinking, prostitution, violence, deforestation, and over-harvesting of natural resources. Young people need the kind of education where they learn lessons in cooperation and teamwork and to understand the rules of society. One important way to pass on these skills and values to youths is by connecting and creating partnerships between young people who are from diverse worlds.

In trying to reverse the process, does consciousness exist ? If so, what is it and how does one go about doing creating the loss of consciousness (or subconsciousness) in the first place ?

Look at all this man has done. Sure, he is older than me, but I'm not even HALF the way to having done as much. Makes me feel like I am sleeping through life. Just how much should you do with your life? How will it feel to be on your death bed having done far less than you wanted to do... and now having no more time to do it? sighs*, ok, I have been in a rut and I can't figure out why. I'm a artist, open-minded, multi-cultural,and impartial. I can't figure why this darkside is coming from. Lately, I have been feeling very sexist towards men but I'm against sexism. I have been feeling disgusted at whites because of my past experiences and history but I don't hate them. I don't understand why I feel like this. I was raised in a perfect home and taught to love everyone from all walks of life. What could be corrupting me? Okay I cheated on her for a long time and she found out about it ..no big deal. So then she calls me on my cell today and tells me she's coming to my house to "kill my soul". I hang up in her face and turn off on my lights so she thinks no one is home whenever she comes and im looking out a window and see a black car slowly drive by the house to times and then it didnt come back. This was also my fiance, I was thinking about apologizing but do you think it's safe? I found a knife under my pillow and I was babysitting earlier today so I don't know if one of the kids did it.

I normally put no stock in dream interpretation, but just for fun, what would you all say to this?

I had this dream once that I looked into a mirror. When I saw myself, I noticed a large swollen area around my face. As I inspected my face, I realized that my face was falling off. My skull had actuall broken apart, and my face was trying to fall off. I kept trying to hold it on, but I couldn't get it back in place. I woke up before anything else happened.

Why male-female relation has been given the unnecessary importance? Most of the relations are supressed by this relation. If sanctity of father-daughter relation is to be honoured, why male-female relation gets predominant as daughters grow up? They are made to feel this differece. Why?

I don't know, I'm not going to say most. But I am 17 and my family/household is a very wealthy one. But we have a lot of problems, we're not close and very dysfunctional. Everyone thinks because of what I have everything is okay. I have friends that really don't have much but it seems the ones that don't....their families are always rich in love. Friends that I have had that "have it all" always have dysfunctions regarding the family. Something is always terribly wrong.
