Look at all this man has done. Sure, he is older than me, but I'm not even HALF the way to having done as much. Makes me feel like I am sleeping through life. Just how much should you do with your life? How will it feel to be on your death bed having done far less than you wanted to do... and now having no more time to do it? Thank you for your thoughts....

Just how the heck do you DO all this stuff? Sometimes it seems hard to find 5 minutes to simply clean the bathroom!

He is an exception and not the standard... we all have different things we want out of life and he is obviously very achievement-orientated.

We are all unique in our own ways and find fullfillment in our own ways. I'm sure you live a meaningful life too and you probably have plenty of things that you've done that would impress others, even impress Coredesman!

Sometimes the most common tasks and jobs are the most important too! Like raising kids- a heavy burden on time and limits what we can do with our lives, but very much needed for the survival of our species! :)

Resumes mean jack in the interview process. Your best weapons are your conversational skills and the manner in which you carry yourself throughout the interview.

I'd reject a Harvard MBA in a second if he sounded like he didn't know what he was talking about.

No as the answer to your question. That was what HE chose to do with his life. I chose much different, and could he do what I do? No more than I could his job. It's the wonderful royalty of "choice". Not being inadequate!

Nope--I don't feel inadequate at all! In fact--I feel very fortunate for what I have and for the life I have chosen. I 'm happy for this guy for the life he has chosen for himself also.
