OH YOU BET!.......
I have ....I think many do but if the hallucination is not something way out of the ordinary we simply don't pay much attention to it. The first time it happened to me I was driving in the mountains , no place to stop and rest, and very very tired, a thunder-bird by ford was driving in front of me and I was watching the taillights ...when as smooth as could be the red tail lights turned into a giant bird and began to slowly fly away .....I realized of course that I was hallucinating and it scared me so bad I was wide awake for the rest of my drive ..{approx 2 hours}...I still get a creepy feeling when i think ...if i had followed my hallucination...I would have driven right off of edge of the mountain, yes .....i stayed wide awake ..the rest of the drive!!.....thanks for the memory!!

PEACE

Yeah while I was sitting on my couch looking out the window watching an imaginary parade going down my street, the cat from alice in wonderland was sitting on my window ledge asking me what I was going to do now? realizing I been up for 9 days, that helped me set the hell off them drugs!!!! I know, not funny and by all means in no way am i saying thats the only way that a person can hallucinate. On a more serious note yes I have been that tired and know others as well that have been through that and no drugs were involved.

Yes! After my high school graduation prom, I was unable to sleep for about two days. I knew I was beyond mere tiredness when a pair of my blue jeans that were draped over a chair kept waving their cuffs at me like hands. I knew it was a hallucination, but I was trying to read a book to tire my brain out so I could go to bed, and these waving pants cuffs kept distracting me.

Boy have I ever!! The last time was on a 12 hour car trip which took me 27 hrs. I was traveling alone, 1st mistake. I didn't get any sleep before I left on the road trip ( across Nevada) 2ND and 3rd mistakes. By the time I finally pulled over and slept (only 23 miles to go), I was talking to the empty passenger seat as if it were my granddaughter..even tho I knew I was alone. I even asked her to touch me if she really was there! After that the mile markers along the 2 lane highway were running around out in the sagebrush and then would jump back in the ground as I passed them..seemingly mocking me with their dance . And the white lines on the road were floating about 3 feet off the road as if they were ribbons in the wind made by the car ,and all the on coming headlights seemed to be drawing me in as if I were a moth to their flame. It was then, with only 23 miles..a mere 30 min. left to go, that I pulled off the road and slept till morning. Our minds are truly magical in what they create....do we really know which is the reality?( Have you ever seen the molecules in the floor jumping around? What do you think you would see if you were to place your hand down to the floor? And , have you ever seen your aura as a colorful vapor trail following your every movement in a pitch black room?)

Many times - wait, one day you will become a father, then you will learn how to live without sleeping, hallucinate, and enjoy it.
