and now she doesn't want to get them and I'm kind of mad because I was just telling her what she wanted to hear "i like you just the way you are" but I want her to get them. Should I try to talk her into changing her mind? If you were her what would you think if I came back to you and suggested that you actually do it?

If she wants a boob job then she will get it done for HER- not for anyone else. Two kids later, it is something I myself plan to do in the future. Of course my husband says I look beautiful, but I want to get it done for me- not him or anyone else. If your friend wants it bad enough, she will get it done for her own right personal reasons- regardless of your opinion or anyone else's and I mean that respectfully and no offense to you. If this is something REALLY bothering you, you can bring it up to her and just say, "You know I was thinking of what you told me the other day about getting implants and I think your body is great/perfect the way it is, but if it is something you decide to go ahead and do I will support you 110%." Your bogus though for thinking she actually needs them.

Good luck to you and your friend!

If she mention it to you again about getting implants, then you should support her.... Because, I am pretty sure she will mention it again just a matter of time.. Because she should be proud of what she has, but if she really want it, you as a friend should support her... So just wait until she ask u again and support her...

Ask her if it's still on her mind and important to her, then offer to buy them and tell her you will be there with her through the whole process. So sick men don't care beyond material stuff. You just admitted you love boobs over her.

Most people do what they want to do, no matter who says what. She was probably not all that committed to getting them if she changed her mind that easily.

For most women it wouldn't matter if you were the King or whoever else. Most women wouldn't get them unless they, themselves, really wanted them.

If you really care about your friend, though, you won't encourage her to take health risks that nobody wants to talk about but that are there (as well as disfiguring mistakes that can get made in surgery).

If she wanted them that badly, your opinion wouldn't have mattered. She probably just wanted reassurement that she looks fine. If I were her and you came back all "yeah, your boobs are too small. Get the surgery", I'd be pissed. First, that you lied, and second, that you think she needs fixing. Also, icky. If you don't like her breasts, find someone with breasts you like. Pushing risky, unnecessary surgery on someone who doesn't really want it just to make their body more appealing to you? Yeah, icky to, like, the tenth power.

Leave it go and stick to the line, "I like you just the way you are." Don't try to influence her decision at all. If she really wants them, it should be because she, herself, one-hundred-percent wants to have them. You can support her decision merely by standing by her. But if you raise the issue now and she gets them and doesn't like them, who do you think is going to be blamed?

Chances are she wasn't that comfortable with getting them in the first place, and was just trying to please you. So when you told her you preferred her like she is, it was a relief. I think you should stick to what you told her and love her as she is. I have big breast(real ones), and I don't understand why women do this.

I know this... silicon implants have been brought back. They are still unsafe, but are marketed safe for profit. The FDA waved the required further testing for some odd reason ($$$) Tell her to be careful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think she is not comfortable about her looks and that would not be a good idea to tell her to change her mind
