It depends. If you are terminally ill, then refusing treatment that just keeps you living in pain without hope of cure, and without any quality of life is not suicide.

On the other hand, if you're crossing the street at night, in dark clothing, not at the crosswalk, then that's suicide! Getting drunk and driving 80 miles an hour is suicide, too.

No it makes you tired and you may just have a lull so then you die because of lack of effort and that is like giving up. And it would be very depressing to have to struggle all the time to survive, and without happiness you can get pretty depressed, lonely, and tired to the point of giving up. It is not a conscious suicide it is more like rendering you defenseless from all the wear and tear, so subconsciously they could be suicidal but one will never know.
