Me, my type. Loneliness and singleness is a scary, vicious cycle. If you don't get romance and companionship squared away with while in school, it may be quite the dilemma later. Adults are more sophisticated and demanding than teens, and have higher standards. So, as an adult it becomes even more difficult to meet people and talk, so if you didn't learn how to while around kids in school, it'll only continue during adulthood and pose a huge, mountain-like dilemma in your life. I'm 25 and I've never been on a date in my life. It doesn't look good for me...

Sad sack people are the lonely people of the world & shy people
they must all join a club or do volunteer work because that will help them if they help others & they will make new friends!
& they must ask people out on dates even if they are shy or worried they may get turned down. its like riding a bike if you fall off you get back up same as if you get turned down on a date you just ask another person later on

While they deserve no substantial amount of sympathy....
Anyone spending the rest of their life in solitary confinement in prison with no relatives to visit, are too dangerous for any type of personal contact with others, and too dangerous to even allow them to speak to others. Their life is 95%+ isolation from contact with others, over 75% of which is spent in less than 100 square feet with no view.

I think you're most lonely when you're in a relationship and you wish you were alone.
