I thought he meant I space off but I'm having doubts so I looked it up and it meant someone that doesn't live in reality or something. I am nowhere near that! Lazy and a procrastinator ya but not a space cadet!

He told me this after the finals test I took in the library(because he was sexually eyeing me the week before finals).

So tell me what it means so I can go back to his office correct him and call him a creep with dirty old man syndrome! Thanks!

It means that your instructor is completely socially inept and doesn't know how to get a point across without saying something derogatory. It also means that he doesn't deserve to possess a teaching license and if he wants you to be "reality-based", remind him that such comments could affect his ability to keep his job. That may just be the dose of reality he needs. Don't let this jerk push you around, tell someone at your school!

Hi, In your case I think he told you that to "wake" you up...and to have you pay more attention to the lessons ..NOT SEX..that he is trying to teach you...space cadet is derogatory ...i.e. not smart...head in the clouds...he is saying your a flake...but i think he sees more potential in you than you do. and i truly doubt he wants to make it with you by calling you stupid and flaky??...don't embarrass yourself by confronting him...with what he said ..it would be humiliating...but as I said i don't believe he really thinks that ..to say that to a truly stupid and flacky person would be too cruel ...really a mean thing to do...so i am sure he simply sees more in you than you are showing in the classroom....and BTW he does like you to set you striaght..but not the way your thinking!..he is being a friend ...he is trying to help you not get in your pants....so hey hit the books harder ..get better study habits and show him what your capable of....so what if he doesent "want" you ..hopefully thats not what you are in school form .....lots of easyer ways to get that ..*LOL*..take care and try not to read between the lines theres nothing there!!..best of luck ..i hope you have the best life ever!!!

PEACE

Space cadet has nothing to do with sex. It's meant to be an insult.
It means a stupid, clueless person.
Show him he's wrong!

I think that deep down you really want him and you just need a reason to go into his office to begin the dance.

The very fact that you asked the question proves his point.

Life is tough.... it's tougher when you're stupid.
