You take your boyfriend out for a family meal and he disappears for half an hour. The next evening he tells you he asked the barmaid for her phone number, he got it and it wasnt hard. After the arguement he says he was only joking, he really didnt ask for any phone number, it was to find out what your reaction would be? Do you believe him? Is he lying? Did he really do it? Do you dump him and walk out in disgust? What would you do? How would you react?

Some people tell me, anythings possible if you know what you want and you just go for it. Some people tell me that you take what you can get and try to make the best of it. These are 2 completely opposite point of views. I just want to know if chasing your dreams is as a ridiculous a concept as so many people have over and over again, told me, or..is it just something that requires a whole lot of hard work?

JOHN STEINBECK
"The things we admire in men, kindness and generosity, openness, honesty, understanding and feeling are the concomitants of failure in our system. And those traits we detest, sharpness, greed, acquisitiveness, meanness, egotism and self-interest are the traits of success. And while men admire the quality of the first they love the produce of the second."

He said I succeeded. I can not imagine myself being in that position. To start of, I am Rachael Smith and I dream to be an actress. I am into fashion, music, and love jewelry. As I was saying, a man ran into me during the auditions, saying I was selected as one of the top ten girls in the new movie. I couldn’t believe my ears, but I was listening to something I always wanted to here. My long bangs covered my eyes and I couldn’t figure out who the man was. I stuck out my hand and tucked my bangs behind my ears and looked straight at him. It was Mr. Knapp, my 12 grade English teacher. I took my bag and left the room. Rachael is a kind of a person who likes to extend her reach towards her dreams.
The co-chief director called her home telling her she needed to go into a private school and learn more about movies. Rachael was brave enough to walk in her new classroom. Her classmates discovered that she flowing through her work and she was achieving compliments from her teachers. She was walking down the hall reading a sing on the board. It said if you want to get yourself into actions tryout for the co-ed NHL. Thinking back and forth, it wasn’t such a bad idea to try out. So, next week, Rachael was standing on the rink in her new hokey jersey ready to play hockey. Her three tryouts went well, but unfortunately did not make it in the team. Rachael did not want to think anything expect her school work. Her exams went well it was time for a spring holiday.
Rachael was walking out her front door step, wearing a skimpy tank top and tight jeans. Her hair was plastered with about a pound of hairspray, so that when it hit the humidity, it barely drooped. Rachael got in her minivan, and it roared out of the driveway in a flurry of screeching tires.
Rachael was taking flying lessons and something awfully went wrong. As she was starting to set up her model, the engines blew of. It flew right in her minivan. An explosion of fire broke in and all Rachael could see was smoke. Rachael was scared to death. Huge firemen carried impossibly long hoses into the backyard. This was a real close call. If the firefighters hadn’t caught the fire as quickly as they did, it could’ve burned down the whole block.
Things were getting back to normal and the Smith’s family decided to visit a foreign country. They were camping outside, when the Smiths’ entered a newly discovered planted. It was different from their home planted. Rachael reacted differently towards what she was facing. Rachael couldn’t sleep, so, she made her way to the forest. As she was walking, an unexpected bear made his way towards her. He made scary sounds that made Rachael run. Rachael shivered and looked around, terrified now, her imagination racing a million miles a minute. She was getting scared but maybe the bear hadn’t followed her. She kept on moving, no matter that her knees stung and her stomach was tight with fear.
She was making her way back when she was captured by spies. She couldn’t make up her mind. When the spies felt asleep, she ran on feet made swift with terror, and with every step she heard something crashing through the brush behind her in distance. She made her way out, she exhaled in relief.

Perfection can drive you nuts. Probably no one understands me. But my head works only in a frictionless world. For me it is very hard to understand some things other people can see so easily. And yet I can see some things that other people can not see. And I do not understand how they can not see these things. So things work backwards in my head. It is very tiring and hard to deal with. Anybpdy have any similar feelings? Should I see someone?

The facts are simple all our actions and human functions are determined by our genetic pool .If certain genes are faulty the body and our behaviour are modified and may become alien to what we expect are standard human behaviour . The enviroment has its part however should we not develop techniques have genetic screening at birth to see if certain individuals are genetically predisposed to murdering, raping etc so that appropriate action can be taken to assist them instead of the current system that is designed to eliminate those convicted . Ie Life in prison , in Africa 80% of convicts die in the next 5 years upon release and there ends their genetic contribution to the Human genetic pool ( "genetic cleansing " as coined by me

I am horrified of them! I feel like im going to pass out just thinking of them and I get a really sick feeling in my stomach. Its like I wil never overcome this fear! My brother has to take a shot everynight for growth hormones and he has had them almost a year and to this day I still run outta the kitchen when hes getting it done. The thing that gets me the most is right where you arm bends like on the other side of the elbow and all those veins are there. I cant even touch that area because it makes me think of like IVs or something. My fear is horrible! Help me

What happens in my brain scientifically to make me "see red" and go blank in a violent rage rather than use rationality. If i'm given the chance to calm down a bit I can rationalize but not immediately. What's happening in my brain to make me do that? Why can't I just rationalize right off the bat?

I am researching the thesis that exchange depends on a necessary scarcity, and it is scarcity- obviously!, that causes local starvation of goods, and on a greater level, world starvation. I.E. starvation is the built in factor of economics. Why isnt this a big deal, a big issue! MAJOR.
