I have just finished an exhaustive 15 year study to determine the greatest feats of human civilization here are my results:

Greatest Man: MLK Jr. This man was so great, he is less a man and more a god. The most important person who ever lived, by a wide margin.

Greatest Work of Music: The Chain Song. A close one between this and Beethoven's Fifth but this wins out for it's broader audience.

Greatest Work of Courage: The people of New Orleans surviving. This was the worst thing that could have happened. Luckily, these self-reliant, nobel heroes survived Bush's hurricane attack and pressed on.

Greatest Work of Art: The dances of Hip Hop. The height of artistic splendor.

He said I succeeded. I can not imagine myself being in that position. To start of, I am Rachael Smith and I dream to be an actress. I am into fashion music and love jewelry. As, I was saying, a man ran into me during the additions, saying I am selected one of the top ten girls in the new movie. I couldn’t believe my ears but, I was listing to something I always wanted to here. My long bangs covered my eyes and I couldn’t picture the man. I stuck out my hand and tucked my bangs behind my ears and looked straight at him. It was Mr. Knapp, my 12 English teacher. I took my bag and left the room. Rachael is a kind of a person who likes to extend her reach up above the sky. She tries to never give up towards her dreams.

People, usually the very same set of people, send emails with inspirational .ppt presentataions, about love, family, friendship, caring for the elderly and so on. They are usually accompanied by soft visuals in blue and sometimes with good music. Is it a method of escape from reality from our loneliness or disturbed relationships or is it abdication of responsibility? Could some psychiatrists reply please?

Is it subjectivity random choice, an artifact of your brain and consciousness being split, along with the rest of the world that makes our experiences seem random? The universe is, in effect, performing umpteen split-brain operations on us all the time. The randomness apparent in nature ia a consequence of the continual splitting into mutually unobserable worlds. Two consciousnesses in the same skull. Remember one of my past questions where I stated their might be another earth with an exact duplicate of us doing what we are doing, but in a different way that's to our benefit? Could this split-brain solution be what I had in mind back then? In case you should ask, No! I have not been watching tv or reading science-fiction books (I don't do either.)

have u ever noticed that ppl tend to turn extremely anti towards others they once believed in? e.g- in an organisation/group/class there might be some ppl who can't get along with certain others so they dislike them. but those who were once friends with ppl & later broke away don't just dislike but hate them too.
i don't think sense of betrayal is the only reason.
for, even in the case of religion, if a person converts & then out of dissatisfaction converts back to his/her previous religion why can't they be respectful towards the other religion or simply disbelieve it like other non-believers instead of being insulting towards it?

I hear so much talk about oil companies have such large profits and that they must be charging too much for gas. But if you look at the numbers they are one of the least profitable industries.
Why does the public buy into this garbage?

According to their financial report, Exxon has a profit a margin of 10.46% for the last quarter, and 9.5% for the last year.
McDonalds over the same time has a profit margin of 14% for the quarter, and 12% for the year.
Apple computers has 11% and 12% for the same time period.

Just because a company has large sales doesnt mean anything about their prices or their actual profit.

I'm in Year 10 / Grade 4 and was doing an essay on society and socioeconomic hierarchy, and I came across a topic which I haven't really explored upon.
Is your perception of posh; quintessentially english traditions/ anglo saxon/western values, people who hold dignatries i.e dukedoms, or is it wealthy beings?
And if so, could you be a person from a different ethnic background but still be part of the upper class in a western society? for example, can an asian be upper class in England? and is it possible to move up/down classes, apart from marriage?
