Wanting to sleep with a woman isn't the same as a meaningful, deep and intimate relationship with someone of the same sex. Lately, my reasoning is this: Men are gay (psychologically speaking) because there may have been an absent father in their crucial stages of life and an overbearing mother; hence, most gay men are in fact mama's boys. My mother was never around as a child, and my father has been a hard *** as long as I can remember. I've always had a better relationship with guys (I have absolutely no female friends), so I'm wondering if that combined with the reversed-gay-theory means I am in fact gay. Is my uncontrollable attraction to women dictated by my early childhood, or rather just another stress on my hormones that should go away by the time I'm 25.

Are home schooled to fit into the everyday life that they will have to live into todays world. The mother openly (and has for years) says that she cares little for her extended family. She has been married for 21 years and has been pregnant 9 times(she lost one). The youngest is now close to 2 years old. It seems that MOM can not be happy unless she is pregnant! She has been showing how rude and selfish she can be since she does not have a high-risk pregnancy to make others worry about her. Since she enjoys being so matipulating will any of her children have a normal life?

I am deathly terrified of yellow jackets. Normal honeybees I can handle. For the most part, if you don't bother them, they don't bother you. Yellow jackets are nasty little fxckers. If you're walking on a city sidewalk shaded by trees, they will literally burst out and get right up in your face. Those things don't play. I've been stung twice - once when I was playing baseball at school (nowhere near any plants!) and once when I was sitting on a bench on top of grass waiting for the bus. It hurts like HOLYFUCK. But now, this phobia's escalating to the point where when I see ANY nearby, I start literally running in the opposite direction, b/c they actually ATTACK you! Even if you don't get in their way or bother them! Now, I can't even walk on sidewalks with any kind of lawns, bushes, trees, or especially flowers nearby. How can I cure this and/or ensure those devils to stay away from me?

For example, because of my schedule, I can't go with my friend to hang out with some people (including the guy I like right now) this weekend. It really sucks, but there's nothing I can do about it. How do you all deal with the emotion of disappointment... or frustration in this case?

Ever since I was a young I've been quiet. Not really because I'm shy, I am shy, but I just can't think of anything to say. I'm a good public speaker, I got a good grade in that class. However thats only because I could rehearse and I knew what to say. When I have to talk normally, my mind just goes blank. It's really hard for me to make friends because of this.

In my lifetime, I have tried many things that interest me, and so far, all I've succeeded in is the job I do for a lviing.

I lost money in the stock market, but kept right with it, so I have made gains as well.

I bought and raced a racehorse. He won three races but never did pay for himself.

I've painted over 100 oil paintings. Only was paid for three of them.

I was downsized out of a job I held for almost twenty years.

In sum, my life has been mostly failures and yet I believe I learned something from them, and don't consider myself a failure.

Would anyone want to keep trying in the hope of hitting it right and becoming very successful?

Or, are you just afraid to take a risk because the competiton is too tough?

I have a list of virtues I need to work on (it's pretty long) but the one I need to work on right now is forgivness.

It's really hard, because I can say, "I forgive him/her" and tell myself that but deep down I still feel anger for that person. I need to be a better person but I don't know what to do to get there.

I had to file for bankruptcy because I got behind on my house payments. My boyfriend is paying all the other bills. My ex roommate didn't pay me for 4 months leaving me to pick up all the bills alone. Her part of the bills added up to $2460.00. I am depressed over loosing my job and I hate looking for one. I'm sleeping too late in the day and everything is just falling apart right before my eyes. What is wrong with me? I need to go get a job but I don't.

I use chopsticks and write with my left hand, and I usually use forks, spoons, etc with my left hand by instinct, but I play all sports with my right side. I kick with my right foot, I dribble with my right hand, I play tennis with my right hand. I also use the scissors with my right hand. Would I be considered left or right handed? I'm so confused. Also, I asked another question on Answers, "Are language learning skills genetic or innate?", because I love to learn languages and I seem to learn them really well really easily, especially with grammar, which seems more logic and left-brained. I'm taking a psych course, and I know that main language learning centers are on the left side of the brain, such as Broca's area, and not in the right brain. If I'm left-handed, shouldn't my right brain be more developed rather than my left brain? So would I really be considered left or right-handed?
