During my high school years I used to write poems and I had a penpal. I don't write much anymore except when I answer questions which helps relieve my stress.

Turn the lights to cozy and listen to some relaxing music or else music that is cheerful and uplifting or else powerfully beautiful music. (Lighting a tart-burner with a relaxing scent helps as well.)

Anyone who says "read", "watch tv", or "sleep" doesn't know what real stress is - because someone who is super-stressed out won't have interest in, or be able to concentrate on, those activities. They'll also be too frazzled to sleep usually.

I clean. It's weird because I usually come home tired from school, or elsewhere, and I clean the house to relieve stress. For some reason, I feel better afterwards

I usually walk outside and explore some natural area in the woods. Nature can relief stress, but sometimes the stress can even distract me from appreciating trees and stuff.

talk to myself trying to calm down, drink a cup of coffee while lighting 2-3 cigarettes, watch a movie that relaxes me, listen to music or do household chores in order to keep my mind off ....

I take a walk or sleep, I hate TV so I don't; NEVER READ A BOOK. Take a bath.

I usually write a letter or talk to my sister, we are close and a lot alike so we can help each other it seems,also a good movie can help me get over it.

I meditate to get my mind off it because thinking it over & over isn't going to do anything but make you lose sleep.

I go shopping. It tires me out and makes it easier for me to sleep.
