and i always am running away from something
that i do not know. No one is around. I am just alone
and i felt so tired when i woke up."

here is my take on your dream!....The familiar place is YOU....inside you where it is only you. Is there something or someone that's giving you a hard time ...or anything you may be procrastinating to get done ...maybe something you have been putting off doing for yourself?...because that is what i see in your dream.there is something ...that is really bugging you ...something or someone you'd rather not deal with....think about it and let me know if I am correct OK??
Peace

Familiar place = safety zone
always running away = evison of some sort
No one is around = emptiness
Feeling tired = helpless

You probably feel very empty even in a situation that you thought you are secure. You are seeking for support or friends. There are something that you are trying to get away from. Perhaps, deep down you don't feel accepted and that is why you feel empty in your life. Projecting being alone and tired often means you are seeking support.

I am not sure if this is your dream. When you interpret a dream, understanding a person's backgound is equally important. That will get you more detail in knowing exactly what the dream means.

Familiar place in your dream means security, basic needs, and values. You may feel at home at your new job or you finally feel settled and comfortable in a new environment. It also reflects aspects of yourself that were prominent or developed during the time you were in that familiar place. You may experience some feelings or unfinished expression of emotions that are now being triggered by a waking situation.

Dreaming that you are running away from something indicates an issue that you are trying to avoid. You are not taking or accepting responsibility for your actions. In particular, if you are running from an attacker or any danger, then it suggests that you are not facing and confronting your fears. Dreaming that you are running alone means that you will advance to a higher position and surpass your friends in the race for wealth.

Tiredness suggests that you are feeling emotionally drained and stressed. Dreams about being tired usually reflect how you really feel in your waking state.

There's something specific in your life that you are avoiding and you're feeling guilty about avoiding it. That you're alone in your dream means that you're putting up a brave front with the people you hang with, because they don't know about whatever this fear or weakness of yours is. Or at least, you think they don't know about it.

There's a certain image that you want to project to others and exposing this weakness or sensitivity would betray this image which is so important to you. However, the dream is natures way of getting you to come clean and be true to yourself. Maintaining a false-self is very burdensome and requires a lot of energy that could be better used being who you really are and developing the gifts that you were given for their intended purpose.

"To thy ownself, be true," my friend. Good luck.

I have ones similar to this all the time. I know where I am and I see people I know around me. And then someone comes after me, but right as they are chasing me I cant run. My legs wont move. I try to scream for help, but my voice wont work.

Nothing ever even close to this has ever happened to me in real life. Guess I've been watching to many DVD's?

The brain is very strange, and I read in one article that dreams were to entertain your mind while it slept.

The typical analysis of this dream is that you are having a conflict with someone or something in your life that is very familiar and personal to you.

I interpret it as you are in a familliar place running away from something.

Seriously, thats it. Dreams don't always "mean" something. If someone says otherwise then they are an overanalyst.
