I am in my last year in High School and from 14 years old i wanted to be a writer. I am talented in that field, i have written poems and two books. Everyone said that they were so powerful of meaning and that i am really blessed. I love writing, it is like a religious for me. When i don't write, i feel that i have lost a part of me and that i need to find it again to be me, and noone else. My character is not so you, i am shy and i barely talk to people. 1) Should i make true my dream come true? 2)What other might say? I love writing! But no one knows except my hole family that i have made an application to go to university studying writing!

Is it better to address or ignore these apparent cries for help?

This is a serious general question for psychologists and armchair psychologists about how best to handle cries for help of potential would-be suicides encountered here on YA.

To set the scenario as one might encounter it:

While traveling at light speed through cyberspace here you come across a striking question related to the overwrought interest in suicide of another human being.
The questioner may challenge you for specific reasons why "not do it."
In extreme cases the questioner may ask for the best methods to accomplish the final deed.
He/she may inquire whether one will "go to hell" for this sin.
Reading the sparse details of the question, if you are a sensitive individual, lots of your buttons are being pushed.
You know little or nothing about the individual asking the question.
Often that individual is new to YA so you can't check their answers and other questions to get more clues about them.

There are people who don't even think twice about putting an animal to sleep? Their attitude is..."So what, it's only an animal. I've had people actually tell this to me. How can some people be so indifferent to the plight of animals. Isn't this a reflection about how they feel about life in general? Aren't we all just a little higher up than the animals? Didn't God create all of us, including all the animals and every living thing? I just can't understand how some people feel it's no big deal to kill an animal like that.

There are always exceptions to the rule, but you don't see men crying and carrying on because they can't fix something.. or to try and get their way..
Is it society? upbringing? hormones?

As I was walking home from work yesterday I was deep in thought (as I normally am) I was thinking about a guy that I know and having a conversation with him in my head. I said (not outloud) that he should call me and told him my phone number (as he doesn't have it). I looked at my phone a couple of mins later and there was a missed call from an unknown number. I called everyone who it might have been but still couldn't figure out who it was. They didn't leave a message. I don't have the guys tel number so I can't call him.
Am I losing the plot or is it possible to connect with people psychicly and talk to them and give them information?

like if you look at the genealogy of the oldest African tribes like the bushman of south africa, they are related to asian people? How did this stuff happen? Isn't black just a mutation of white due to the effect of the sun?and that its more likely we were clotheless and hairy creatures from different types of sub-families(chimps,drills,baboons,gorilla,gibbons)who split up millions of years ago, but are still able to mix because originally we were from the same family? m

Most TV shows - especially soaps - portray men as eager to be around and 'in-there' when their pregnant wife gives birth. But I think this is largely down to the vested feminine pressures of social PC - "political correctness" - and that most men would rather not.

Frankly, I also suspect that many women deeply resent being the ones who have to give birth - (which, let's face it, is a hugely ugly as well as a very painful process) - and feel that men should share in their suffering as much as possible... (something of a "Dog-in-the-Manger" syndrome masquerading as "caring.")

Birth is natural, true - but then, so is crapping. And I wonder - if women were the only ones who needed to go to the toilet... would they insist on men being there along with them - just to endure the pain, the pong and the poo too...?
