There are always exceptions to the rule, but you don't see men crying and carrying on because they can't fix something.. or to try and get their way..
Is it society? upbringing? hormones?

I think men don't express their feelings due to social conditioning. When little, boys are taught to be tough...you know ...'big boys don't cry'. Gee and we wonder why when these boys are grown women look at them and say 'why don't you talk to me about how you feel?' Well they can't talk about how they feel because they were never taught how to do so. What a shame. If men and women could talk about how they feel then I think less arguments would occur. Wouldn't that be nice?

Men, as a whole, are less emotionally developed than most women. They carry pains and grudges longer, hate more profoundly and hide more readily.

There are exceptions to the rule. I think as children, girls are taught to express their emotions. Boys are taught to suppress their emotions. But I have met some girls who are as tough as nails emotionally. And I have met some men who are very in touch with their emotions. I believe it's the society we live in and how we are brought up.
