I didn't think so then and I don't think so now that I've reached
retirement. I remember having fun as a little kid. My folks planned some really good times like the Easter bunny and Santa Claus,
picnics, trips, fishing and playing with us kids. There were the weiner roasts and hay rides. There was a woods and a cemetery
which we could write a book about. But I also remember the times we were sick, the troubles at school, the hard work mom
and dadhad to endure and some of the responsibilities us kids had which were good for us, not so pleasant for the moment. Oh there were some times of fun at a country school.High school was dfferent. I remember adjusting to a social life different. There were bullies. Plucking order depended onsize. There were other problem I won,t even go into. Later
I found out about other kids that thought life in high school
wasn't all it could have been. In college things changed for the better. From then on life brought a job I liked, pay, and
a social life full of enjoyment. I found purpose and meaning.
All I can say is don't give up if adolesence is the pits. Do what
you can to make the best of it. Nobody should have to put
up with bullies. There were some good kids I remember too.

It wasn't for me, but I do believe that life is what you make of it. No one cares more about your happiness than you do and you can chose to enjoy your life or be miserable. I also believe a person should play in the uniform their issued. That is to say, figure out what is unique about being you and capitalize on it. Be kind and caring of others but never let them decide your value as a person. Good luck!

No - while you may have youth and hopefully beauty you are not confident and self assured. I believe the best time in a persons life is childhood, no knowledge means that there are less worries - and everything is done for you and you are blamed for nothing. Who wouldnt want that again?

Not necessarily, depends on the person and their environment, ie parents, friends etc.
I have a new saying - Youth is wasted on the young, and wisdom is wasted on the old.
My 30's and now my 40's are better than my 20's or teenage years. I can't comment beyond that.

No. Adolescence has been the worst part of my life- but I'm only seventeen, so much worst things may happen though. I miss childhood...

No way. You only realize how great that time in your life could have been after you get older. It's a cliche, but it's true, youth is wasted on the young.

Not at all. At 32 I am enjoying life much more then I did during my awkward 12 years of age.

i think not! yet, it may be partly true b/c SO many things happen in adolescense, from 12 to 20, its UNBELIEVABLE. you collect meaningful memories that last a lifetime.
but i think childhood is THE BEST time of life. childhood should not be wasted, not one millasecond of it, childhood and children in general are beautiful.

I disagree. It is good from certain aspects, because you still have the idealism of youth and a lot of possibilities open to you.
The bad part is all the insecurity and not knowing oneself.
