Yeah, shopping is better than being sat in front of the TV or in the pubs getting sloshed.. ... and that's where you would have found the majority of men today!

Women are social beings
Men can be loners
It is just they way we are wired. Women need people, contact, friends, shopping and anything that gets them connected and out fo the house.
Men can just sit home all day and veg out infront of sports on the TV. You would never see a woman enjoy that.

You wouldn't catch me in town on a Saturday - I avoid it like the plague. There's nothing worse than gangs of women shopping and fawning over skimpy bits of lycra/hideous bags/etc.
I was in town at 8am this morning but that's because I'd been partying all night :-)

Why is it bothering you? I never spend a moment wondering why men are so obsessed with sport, sex, their bodily functions, whatever. It's a great life and we're all doing what we enjoy, so long as we're not hurting anyone.
