they are new borns and very tiny. i am doing a project in my Ecology class breeding Betta's...we have been successful in getting them to breed but we don't know exactly what the babies eat. my theory is they will just eat organisms in the water or the alge till they are big enough for us to feed micro worms or micro eels that we have. if you know a link to a reliable article that would be a great help too. THANKS!!!

I have a mummified possum that is completly dessicated, just bones and hair. I want to retrieve the skeleton for mounting. What is the best way to remove the unwanted tissue? Just a note...it died of natural causes under our house, I did not kill the critter.

Within the last couple months, Japanese scientists or fisherman have caught a giant squid, a gill shark & now a goblin shark - all have never been seen alive. It's absolutely amazing! What's more amazing is that every one of these rare creatures has died within hours or days of having been caught.

What the hell is going on over there?

Personally, I wouldn't say a thing to anybody even if I had solid proof as it would mean the end of something that has been around for a very long time. Scientists, etc. would be in there like flies on you know what, trying to capture it, study it, dissect it, destroy its habitat, etc. I would feel priviledged to have seen it and leave it at that.

i was told that there is a standing offer by some group (maybe like the New York Zoological Society) for $10,000 or maybe 100,000 for anyone that brings in an eastern diamondback rattlesnake over eight foot long. Is this true???

I was told in a college zoology course that there had never be an actual recorded death from a copperhead snake bite. I dont want a bunch of answers saying "YES, there has"... from people that dont really know. If you are not sure about it I don't want your opinion.... i just want the facts!

I know dogs fart, but I wonder if cats or other animals do. You see bubbles coming out of fish and would like to know if those are farts.
